Ok now seriously folks, I've read up on the etiquette thats available on the board here, but I think its mainly geared towards MP's and hotels. What about the strip clubs? I don't plan on going to the expensive ones, but I'm thinking about checking out the midrange ones...if anything just for the experience.

How's the strip club scene work? Are you allowed to touch? I've read you are required to buy drinks, and furthermore pressured into buying expensive drinks for the girls. Is it possible to just sit and enjoy your drink and slowly put dollars on the stage without being constantly harrassed/tempted to spend large sums of money? I really just want to sit at the bar, have a couple drinks, maybe get 1 or 2 lap dances with no sexo and walk out spending no more than $50-60

For 50-60 bucks you can get laid too, yes "touching" is allowed as long as you're buying her a drink or a lap dance. I'll never forget the first time we went to PR a hot chica came over and my buddy bought her a drink, next thing she's on his lap kissing him and he's playing with her tits and she grabs my hand and puts it down her panties. I recommend PR and Le Grillon although the talent has always been better at PR when I visited. Think you still get in free and 1 free drink(?)with VIP card, never run a tab and don't let them pressure or gringo-price you. ST room is 14k but sometimes they quote gringos more, like 20k.

I never made it to the PR, but at Le Grillon they didn't really bother us beyond the drinks. I actually had to bring it to their attention.. and go and get El Jefe to tell him we need more drinks and what's up with the girls... It was different than I was used to (mexico border town) where they have a girl sitting on your lap as soon as you sit down.
