Have to disagree with your broken record Jazz. There are many many posts here from members and non members recommending various hotels, MP's, drivers, points of interest, etc none of whom are CRT sponsors. Restrict recommendations to only those who are a CRT sponsors will remove a valuable source of information to the members.

I see where you constantly point people in the direction of CRT sponsors which is admirable but to chastise other businesses because they are not sponsors is a bit short sighted IMO.

Brother ID--As you said, many Brothers help us by pointing out new venues, attractions, Chicas, etc. I get miffed though at the thought that someone pointing out stuff might have a vested or monetary interest in the enterprise mentioned--that to me is pimping. That's the only point I was trying to make. Maybe I go a bit overboard on the subject but I've been responsible for at least 1 thread being deleted on these grounds. Nobody appointed me "Thread cop"--I apologize to all and sundry especially you if it's getting annoying.

Not annoying to me. I was just pointing out that many places have been recommended that are popular, many many MP's, that never become sponsors.

A one time post does not indicate, in most cases, that the poster has a proprietary interest in the venture. Yes in some case they do and they should be removed but in many cases they are innocently giving information and to accuse them of having an interest is unfounded. I along with others have made that error and unfortunately relied on intuition and rumor rather then hard evidence.

Always on the scout for more and better hotel deals. Last trip I checked out several and now one more option. Competition always good.

Thanks guys for the POSITIVE FEEDBACK. Now maybe we can get started. They finally gave the hotel a name. " El Soñador ". This dose not mean much, being there are no signs on the building yet. In San Jose they make you take down the signs as fast as you put them up. It is located on Calle one on the east side of the street in the middle of the block, between Av 3 Y 5. There is a phone store below and 3 stories of hotel. Stop in the phone store for directions. The hotel door is south of the phone store. Ring bell attached to intercom.
