HLH or SL or Clarion for 1st Visit

I'm debating on which one to book for a 2 night stint. Since I'm not VIP yet, I got the full rack rate. Clarion appears to be about $25 cheaper then the SL. But pricing aside, I'm looking to experience the beauty of San Jose within these short 2 nights so location is the key.

Either is fine to be honest. The SL has a club house feel to it.

The SL, no doubt about it. You will find everything you need under one roof, including friends and girls and wingmen who are doing the same thing you are.

Take any room you can get but try for the new wing or the Mansion wing.

SL---if can get a room other then the courtyard( new wing or mansion) then you be more then glad you spent the extra few bucks for SL ..

(Some of the best money I ever spent )
But even for two nights the court yard at SL may do, JOIN as VIP and you get the money back on first trip between room and drinks/food, and besides you can meet some of the guys and ladies you been reading about here when you get up for breakfest

Both are good. And I have stayed at both. HLH is also a massage palor. Were you can take them to your room. Where SL is a bar, resturant and hotel. Many women hang there who need to earn money. HLH does have a bar. But that is where the girls sit trying to get you to agree to the full service massage. I can tell you which ever choice you make you should visit the other and explore both styles. They are 5 blocks apart and safe to walk between during the day.

If I signed up now, will my card be available at HLH by tomorrow when I arrived? I'm about to prepaid for SL and being asked if I'm a VIP.

My Opinion. Join CRT and get the discounts. If your staying at places that honor the CRT card, it's a non-decision because the discounts cover the cost of membership.

The perfect situation for a first visit is HLH the first two nights. That will get you used to many girls without any ONE getting under your skin as happens to many guys on their first visit.

Then the SL or DR the rest of the nights. If they are full the , Amistad or Freebird.

The second trip you will be able to choose for yourself based on what you find you like on your first trip.

PM Admin and they can probably have a temp waiting for you at the HLH.

Wether you have the card in hand or not the HLH and SL will probably honor your discount if they verify your membership. Bill at SL did this for a friend of mine but then again, that's Bill, a true Class act.

If I read this right, your about to leave in a day or so? If that is the case maybe hard to get a room at SL/Amistad/Castillo, but CALL CALL CALL and you never know

But how soon you get the card is up to the Admin. of the the site. He does better then great for the members, but he does have other things to do, the same as all of us. So contact him with that question asap.
My experance is 90 days out for hotel rooms ( min) and I got some options when I CALL , after that rooms can start to get tight, IMHO Some guys are booking the better rooms a lot earler then 90 out--

Yes you are right, sir! I'm heading out tomorrow and I'm still running around the office trying to print maps, postings from this board, useful material from the internet (currency conversion), etc and making sure coworkers don't accidentally swipe my printouts. Can't believe it's Friday and I'm still at work, but it's for a good cost.

Also, believe it or not, here are my up-todate quotes:

HLN - $89 Standard Queen
Freebird - $55 Lux Suite; $43 Standard
Clarion - $ 75 Standard
SL - originally quoted $89 standard, del in modern wing

Please help to decide. I wanted SL, but the guy hasn't return my email about if it's still available.

CALL SL don't wait for emails, emails have a way of disapperaing half way down there for some reason, the tech savy guys have explained this before, but I sent several to good places, and after I call they look and never got them???

Official -- SL totally booked (except for the mansion, but I'm not willing to pay that price).

Aminstad only has one night available.

So I'm left with HLH, Freebird, Clarion. Man, never been at work this late on a Friday. I think I'm melting!

Versuvio it is! Thanks, Xman00. I called them. Got a rate of $43. Not sure what type of room or quality, but I will report. Guess this is the next best thing to SL since is very close to SL. See you guys there!

Btw, how do I book a cab to the Gulch?

You'll be okay at Vesuvio for a couple of nights. All you need is a place to bang your chicas, shower and sleep. Expect to have your neighbors pounding on the wall while you are doing your own pounding. The walls are thin! :lol:

It's an easy and "safe" 1 block walk from SL. You can very easily walk your choices to from SL at practically all hours. Hit SL for breakfast (Desayuno at Vesuvio sucks!) and enjoy meeting some CRTers during the quiet hours.
