FYI, for those in the central VA area...

RIC to SJO on US Airways starting at $228.40 all-in

Sample Dates:
8/13 to 8/18

Plus a butt load of dates in September and October.

It's never to early to think about another SJO trip... NEXT!

in the past, there were often good buys after labor day.

that is a good price.

get yourself a room at one of the low rent hotels like Nuevo Johnson and check out some of the Tico Mp's for more savings.

Is that with taxes and fees for those dates? I searched the US Airways site, Yapta and Orbitz and came up with $449.42 (w/ taxes and fees) on all three sites for those dates. How did you arrive at those fares?

I'm tracking for air on Yapta from RIC to SJO the third week of May. The one day I wasn't able to check it was $332.00. Currently it's $402.23. I'm hoping it will go down a bit next week but I would buy at $402.23.

I like the fact that I can now fly out of RIC at a reasonable price instead of going to IAD or DCA to get a good deal. It's such a pain in the ass to drive back to Richmond after a trip to CR. I can get a ride to and from the airport at RIC.

The one stop on US Airways is for the Charlotte airport CLT. Is that a reasonable airport to negotiate?
