I"m booked at the Crowne Plaza Corobici in Sabana. Does anyone know if this hotel is guest friendly? I usually stay at the Presidente so this is the first time I've stayed outside of the gulch. I'm interested in good restaurants and MP's in the area too. The only time I've ever been in the neighborhood was to go to Oasis.
Gracias

I believe that it's a $35 guest fee.

Nice hotel, bit boring though...

There are several MP's in the area, but none have quality girls, from my memory... I don't tend to go to that area unless someone tells me of a new place...

I stayed there on a family trip about 4 years ago, nice hotel has a casino which at the time, opened at either2 or 4 pm. I'll be going back in the summer on another Family trip and will be staying there. Great gym and breakfast buffet included. I don't recall seeing any "guest" that does'nt preclude the possibility, but most of our time was spent doing the outdoors activites. Across the street is a Mas Y Menos grocery store, and within walking distance is a Rosti Pollos

IF ANY one knows???? I believe at one time there was a MP located in close proximity to the hotel within walking distance.
Perhaps a more knowledgeable brothe can enlighten us.

I'll be going down at the end of the month, and will probably do a cheap MP tour then... I'll let you know what I find.

Using Priority Club points this hotel is on sale for only 5000 points per night which is about as low as it gets. You also get free shuttle to and from the airport. If I can get the free breakfast and sneak chicas in, then it will get my personal 5 star rating. I'd never pay to stay here, but for free it's more than a deal. $2 cab ride to the DR shouldn't break the bank. Any intel on Sabana MP's much appreicated.
Gracias,
El Gordo

Any info on MP's in that part SJ much appreciated!!!! I know Veronica's is close but I've never taken a look. I'm going May 8-12 so that would be great timing. I might get a driver for a few hours and check them out on May 9th so any board members interested joining in doing a tour of the low end MP's let me know.

There is a Japanese sushi place in the hotel which is decent. It is also located a couple of blocks away from the Brazilian churrascaria place and is also close to the Princesa Marina seafood place.

PS. the hotel is as quiet as a tomb. So do not take a chica who screams at orgasm

The Crowne Plaza in Monterrey Mexico is a similar layout and can get quite noisy with live music and functions going on within the hotel.
If I get a screamer I'll gladly play the $35 joiner fee. :o

Macchu Picchu peruvian restaurant is right across the street from Oasis?
Sounds like a good location to me.

Yes they charge $55 for guests! Outrageous! But they are trying to discourage mongering in their hotel. The Chicas hate the place. The Chicas will try and sneak in via the side/parking lot entrance, but security is on to that trick.

If your staying there as a group, try pre-negotiating with the sales manager that there will be no extra charges for guests.

If your group is large they will bend over backwards to keep your business. But is has to be done in advance.

If your solo pick another hotel.

I stayed there on business. My company will not negotiate on the guest fees. :x They got them to comp the breakfast buffet, which is really nice.

$55 sucks. I'll start right off by tipping the door guys and making fast friends. Then I'll do my best to sneak the chica's in. I've been successull many times with the same plan at the Holiday Inn Aurola. I tip the doorman several times and then when I bring the chica we walk right to the elevator.
I thought worst case I'd need to pay $35 but $55 is bad. On that note, what's a cheap hotel around the DR cost me? -As a secondary banging location.

Motel Asia, or better yet, Motel Eden...

Negotiate a longer time with the girl, and take them to one of those, and phuk your brains out...

It DOES remind me of a tomb. Nice hotel, though.

I doubt you will ever sneak a chica in. Their security is pretty tight.

Personally, I would rather take CRT discount at La Amistad or Dunn Inn and be closer to the action. Although, it would be kinda cool to have some screamer reverberating through the tomb's lobby. "Mommy, is that a howler monkey?"
