It appears that Mendobrew will be this years March Madness Champion.

He is currently leading and has North Carolina winning the title. Since, nobody picked the Michgan St. to win nobody can catch him.

So, congradulations to Mendobrew and hopefully Mucho Gusto won't blow all his baht in June to pay off your little wager.

I look forward to receiving that extra 1000 baht :D … and even more, when I am able to spend it on Soi 6 :D :D :D . I will make a point of thanking the Spartans and Huskies when I pay the TG.

He he he… Just had to re-post that little gem :P

Yes, I am a proud alum :!: … but when filling out my brackets I remembered how NC kicked our butts in December, that still stings. I learned many years ago to not bet on the Spartans, my loyalty seems to cloud good decision making. That being said, the Spartans have come along way and are on a roll… there will be at least 60,000 MSU fans in the house at Ford Field tonight and it should be a great game.

GO STATE!

Well Mendobrew,

Sorry you have to lick your wounds, but you needn't hang your head.

I still remember March of 1978 when most of the country got their first look at Larry Bird (ISU) and Ervin Johnson (MSU and a sophomore) and got the thrill of their lives. That game still has the highest rating (24 share) of any college basketball game in history. MSU won, Magic joined the lakers, Bird the Celtics and in the years to come, provided the country with perhaps the best rivalry in modern times. Ah, those were the days.

Ciao, Thanks........

Oh the memories...... The general (as well as many other schools) passes on the slow white boy from French Lick and he leads a bunch of gym rats to the National Championship game. what followed of of course was legendary, but I am still pissed off at the General (aka Bobby Knight) for passing on him in college, He probably would have won that championship as a Hoosier like we did in '76 and '81......

Congrats to you Mendow for the CRT win, and for your team getting further than ANYONE expected. they just ran up against a machine....
