I have stayed at La Amistad in Feb. All around great place
I do stay else where
SL never stayed
There are lots of other hotels that welcome us
Every one has there favorite
Some of us try and guard them
Get the the card man It will be the best thing you can do
My last trip I saved $150 easy

I have stayed at both the SL and Amistad. My SL stay kind of sucked because I got Tranquillidad (which was anything but). I always try to get a room here in the new wing, but they are always booked months in advance.

In Feb, I stayed at the Amistad and loved it. Its really tranquilo. I loved the laundry facility, the breakfast and the room. Mine had a steam room and a jacuzzi. The chicas loved both.

The laundry facility is amazing. You just drop off a pile of dirty clothes and they are back in your room a couple hours later, nicely folded.

I had no problem getting breakfast. You talk to whoever is at the front desk, or better yet, pull the screen aside and ask the cook in the kitchen. Fresh fruit, eggs (done the way I like it), rice con beans, sausages, juice and coffee.

This next trip, I am going to stay at the Castillo and see how that works out.

It really does seem that way and what's worse is how obvious it is. I'm sure JOsie is a great guy but a bit derisive lately.

Now I know I'm going to get the "homo police" called on me by him, but prior to Pac moving to CR, if I had to guess he's got prolly 100-150 nights slept at the SL, not to mention being a frequent patron there.

Now someone like me is never going to believe more members prefer LA over SL and I think I share that sentiment with many on this board. But that's your opinion, and that's what the original poster wants to know.

It's all good bro, maybe you should take another trip soon. We want the old JOsie back :D

Ummmm.....who is "we" "Cujo"? All I see J0sie posting is truth and reality.

Me, I just post facts. And, I don't even want in ANY club....and there appear to be a couple of clubs, if not factions, on this message board....which is NOT representative of CRT; a membership made up of well over 15,000. Ya'll got your own little threads (Last Post Wins to name but one); you post data/questions that is only known amongst your small ranks (kinda frat boy like....ya know what I mean, Vern???!!)....and there seems to be an air of arrogance amongst you. Could be I am incorrect in my readings, but I don't think so.

PS: I am very upset by all this hating. I thought that Thumper's Mommy's rules were what we were playing by. I don't think I shall be able to sleep for several nights now. May as well make the best of it!! 8)

Damm guys. I take the dog out for a phucking walk and we got a full war going on. Pleeeassee, even I got some line I will not cross. Everyone chill out for a sec.

Steve and Cujo, I know where you both are coming from and you are both right. Since I like the Amistad best, then 60/40 Steven j/k. :P :P :P

This is what happens when we ask another member a question and everybody answers but the member to whom the question was directed. Not that he has to answers but if you are going to answer for that member, try to keep your emotions out of it. And this will includes everyone on this board. Including homos. Sorry could not help myself. :P :P :P :P

I agree about wanting some time away from the mongering scene.

But actually, I'll probably only be staying at a hotel for the first 3 nights or so, then I'll head to either a cheap hostel or another part of Costa Rica.

If I'm planning on staying around April 27th - 30th, is it too late to reserve something at SL?

Why not call them and ask them directly? Manfred will be the one who knows what's available and what's not.

Likely but you can call and see if they have a room. The Amistad is like a block away and so is the Castillo. All three hotels are chica friendly and all are a nice option.
