JetBlue Airways starts daily nonstop service
from Orlando, Florida to San Jose, Costa Rica

To celebrate the new service, sale fares as low as $69 are available
between Orlando and San Jose each way for travel purchased
March 27, 2009 through April 8, 2009 at www.jetblue.com.

Travel must take place between April 14 and June 17, 2009.
Average everyday fares will start at $139 each way.

I just bought a ticket for June and it was 99 each way. gotta love the price and the fact that it is nonstop. My dick can leave orlando and be knee deep in it a few hours later.

Will they be offering DirecTV service? I know on either the DR or PR flights they aren't allowed to show DirecTV.

I bought 3 tickets when they announced this new nonstop flight late last year for $99 because they made it sound like $99 was a limited time deal and it would be going up to $139. I missed a call from JetBlue last week to tell me about a schedule change to one of my reservations in May. I called them today to ask if they had any other times on my flight days and they said no, so I asked in that case can they honor the new price of $69 and she said yes. The original ticket was non-refundable so she gave me a $58 JetBlue credit.

You Orlando brothers are lucky. Even though Jet Blue flies non-stop to Orlando from Richmond, VA (RIC) where I live they have no through flights to SJO. You have to buy a seperate ticket from Orlando to SJO. Bites because it becomes very expensive. I went around and around with Jet Blue customer service this morning trying to make it work. But it was a no go. I had been waiting for this service to start on the 26th. Normallly I fly from IAD or DCA two hours away to take advantage of the much cheaper airfares than RIC.

I'll be taking advantage of this service shortly. The only thing that bugs me is that in a few months, JetBlue is changing the times for the flight. Right now it leaves around 10am, around September I think its changing to leaving at 6pm. I dont like getting in that late.

But oh well, cant beat 3 hours non stop. I'll deal with it.

Oh well, at least the taxi dispatch is safe in san jose because its done thru an airport office, same can not be said for other countries.
with the change i can connect from the midwest easier than trying for a
10am flight.

I can't wait until a direct flight from orlando to medellin from either spirit or jetblue happens.

JetBlue seems to be slowly switching back to the original schedule of leaving earlier in the day from Orlando. I've been getting phone calls from them every couple weeks to advise me of a schedule change.

Im scheduled to leave in june at around 10am.

Also, the $99 price isnt guaranteed. I thought it was, and slept on tickets. I log in to check ticket prices, and it was like 159 each way. So I overpaid. I could have gone over a hundred cheaper by flying Copa, but it included a layover, and it just wasnt worth it.

you wont get directTV for the most part on this flight. I flew to santo domingo last feb on jet blue...once you go so far from US coastline you lose signal. Don't know if its intentional due to intl agreements or if you just lose reception. Either case its still a good deal...I got in for 99 bucks each way.

Never flown Jetblue. Does everyone get a screen for the DTV? That is pretty nice if it is.
