hi guys , i just saw all these posts about me and prices so i decided to reply,,

just to let you know my van now has privacy curtains ,ice cold air conditioning , wet bar with liquor , mixers and ice ,and fridge with an ice cold six pack of imperials inside, dvd player , superb sound system extra goodies listed on the site and extremely reasonable rates, and me driving,

and if you didnt already know taxis are now by law using meters , depending on what time you arrive theres quite a bit of traffic on the way to the gulch, sometimes it takes 20 to 30 minutes sometimes it takes over an hour, and your never going to pay 20 dollars for 4 to 6 people in a taxi to the gulch in the middle of the day. never....

my sevice is more like a personal limo driver van situation, it has no resemblance whatsoever to a taxi.

if you want to be attacked and harrased by the 57 different ticos soliciting fares for taxis at the exit doors of the airport then go ahaed , it is a madhouse, and chaotic. and its the reason my awesome private driver van service exists ... for people who want the true VIP treatment, from start to finish...

the extra $20 dollars is to cover the cost of going past the airport (which is where we originate from) and going all the way to the gulch to go all the way back thru san jose twice to get back to the airport to then go over the mountain to jaco...

also i quoted the gentleman after a very long and detailed private chat we had on my site and his extra detailed itinerary. and gave him a good price for guarenteed private safe trustworthy transportation....

and i had no idea my private converstion and price quote was going to be made public and am a bit taken aback by seeing my private chat text on the forum... hmmm

my service is there as a vip transportation not unlike a private limo.
it is designed to make you guys feel like VIP's from the time you land to the time you leave.

taxis are fine. i dont see why this is even up for discussion.

please if you have any questions about why my rates are what they are you should just ask me.

there was a whole bunch of extra things that were involved in my price quote.... like going back to my townhouse with the mans luggage for a few hours and returning to pick him up to go to the beach etc,,,,,,

and it was for 6 people. which are not getting in a taxi , and the taxis deffinatly charge for extra passengers and luggage,,,,

well thats it i havent posted in a while , i hope this finds you all and your loved ones safe and happy ,,

As probably some members on the forum know that this is going to be my first trip to CR as a bachelors party. You quoted me prices that are available to everyone. You did not give me a hush hush discount or anything like that, otherwise if that was the case I would kept it private. 300 for transportation is not cheap. Although I am really considering it for with my partners for the extra safety. I just wanted to get some insight from people on the board for their advice. This is what the forum is suppose to be for. And as an update, I think it will just be 4 of us comming. We all have booked the flight and the JACO rooms. If the other 2 change their mind I will be sure to let you know.

Once again, I am sorry if I offended you with the post of the prices. So at the end of the day. We are still considering 300 for 4 people for the transportation. If its ok with you, I will keep you up to date on the decision.
