This place will blow you away if you like exotic, well seasoned, exquisitely prepared food. I've never been there before, altho it was recommended by a local gringo a year ago-then I saw a review a couple of weeks ago in AM Costa Rica/ or Tico Times?--had to try it. The place has a kind of upscale/eclectic/ beatnic/ surfer atmosphere/ music. Altho they do not have a liquor license, you can bring your own bottle of wine( I would recommend two, as the service is a little slow and haphazard). The food and proportions are more than adequate-you can not eat it all. When you are done eating, the best part is still waiting for you--la cuenta--for an absolutely incredible meal for three people the bill was only $36.
