You guys have been a great help! We have decided to stay at SL in the OSO grande Mansion suite w/ two bedrooms :D That room has 3 king size beds, and with the VIP discount, the cost was only 149 a night. A couple of us will stay in that suite, so the expense will be distributed evenly. More money for therupetic sessions;) Although the idea of HDR and HLH was nice, I am a fan of cleaniness. HDR, HLH and SL are all walking distance of each other, so we will make it a point to get a taste of all the action! Besides, SL does not have a chica fee, and HLH was a bit more on the expensive side, which makes up for the chica discount.

Now the only thing thats left to plan is some type of quick excursion to soften the blow of us leaving the ladies behind being that none of us are not single  There is probably not going to be no time for that, so I will have to try a suggestion JACUJO made of taking some pictures somewhere in SJ with lots of bushes around to look like we were in the jungle...LOL

Anyhow..I will be sending a trip report and look forward to catching up with some of you if you are out there the same time we are! Thanks again for all your help!

Do an ATV tour. You can set it up from SL. They will pick you up at the hotel around 9:00am, take you up to near 7,000' in the nearby mountains, assess your abilities and give you a good morning ride, feed you a great lunch, then really ring you out in the afternoon, back at SL by around 5:00pm, all for around $100 per head. You will have plenty of opportunities for pics and a great day.

http://www.rainforestrams.com/craintro.html do the Aerial Tram and do it early in the day if you're the least bit interested in seeing the rain forest from above....early in the day means more wildlife view possibilities. You can zip line (I think...maybe not...) from that joint as well. It's less than an hour's drive outside of San Jose; This adventure also includes a private guide walking through the bush for about 1km or perhaps less. As I recall, it had been $55 not including transport. Plenty of photo ops (take an extra towell to wipe the perspiration off your brow and some insect repellant to stave off the very few skeeters that might be about....it's not really an issue....but it's just something I keep in the pack I tote which also has water (why pay $3.00 for 500ml of water when you can have your own) Be adventurous and take the public bus to the park and save at least $20.00 per person in transport costs and ride with the locals. You're there....start learning to be local....or not....and you can have them transport you. Book through the desk at SL and they get a piece of the action....won't drive your cost up a cent....

You know it's a small world when a newbie PM's you asking for you to call him and you have the same area code..

I spoke to (you already know) and it seems like he's got it togther. We even worked on his excuse for coming out in August.

Have a good time brotha and be sure to give a report. Nice choice at SL by the way.

Carey at Paraiso ATV Tours is a CRT VIP Sponsor operating out of SJO and he or his tour guides will show you a good time (mild to wild depending on their assessment of your skill level). Bonus is being offered the chance to buy some organic coffee. Somebody here recently filed a report on this tour and were all raving about it. Give him a play--you won't regret it.
