Hey fellas, I am new to this site and we just booked Hotel delrey for our stay intrip in may. I have not seen any recommendations for delrey on this thread. I got a decent deal and wanted to make sure its recommended. We are going for a bachlor party so you know that it is going to be nonstop chicas!

Because the DR is a shithole of a place to stay IMO. The fact you are there with guys on a bachelor party sounds about right though..

Thanks for the tips! Jadcujo, none of us are gringos and we all speak spanish. So, with that said, I think we have an advantage. We are only going for three days and one thing in mind. However, when you say you wouldn't stay there, do you mean that that I might catch a disease just by sleeping on their beds and I have to wear shoes when I take a shower? LOL..Or it just looks cheap?

Our mission is to get as many quality chicas as we can for a decent price. So. which hotel do you really recommend, and not be disgusted when walking into the room?

Its fine. Would it be my first choice no. For a newbie it makes things easy for you.

When you get a little tired of the HDR scene, take a taxi over to the Sportman's Lodge for drinks or food or chicas just for a change of pace.

Im going to say you need to read A LOT MORE on this site...

But, for what you're thinking of doing, and the fact that your spanish is good, stay away from HDR.

Don't bother with D'Pelufo's, Pantera Rosa, and Arcadas, and Le Grillon are far superior, in that order...

First time ever trip? I believe the DR is the right choice. Once you become a more seasoned CR pro, start going to other places. On my trips now, I would NEVER stay at the DR.

But my first trip a few years ago, me and 2 buddies went, stayed at the DR, and we still to this day tell the story to other friends and make them jealous.

Are there cheaper places? Sure. Cleaner? Definitely. More hospitality driven? Of course. Any other place you can go downstairs at 3am, get trashed at the bar, play some blackjack ,and have your pick of the 50 girls downstairs? Nope.

The fact this guy is a fluent spanish speaker makes him more seasoned already. He (they) will soon know what's up I'm sure. Although 3 days is barely enough time to plant seeds.

Just be aware that it's $10 per Chica to take the ladies upstairs. Depending on how much stamina you have, that can expensive mighty quick. Otherwise the HDR is unique in the world and Ground Zero for mongers. Have big fun, lads. And hey shoot us a Trip Report when the party's over, OK?

We have not paid for the rooms, we just reserved them. So nothing is set in stone. Decisions...Decisions...most of you guys are pointing to SL and havana. Are the chicks in SL and havana bettter looking? Do they charge to bring them up to the room? we are open to change. We can always go to HDR to experience it and just take the chicks back to SL or HLH if they are worth it.We just want to make sure we get the best "BANG" for our buck;).

Personally I would not stay at the Del Rey and yes you can go and party there and bring back chicas to the SL or Amistad. There tends to be 2 school of thoughts here among CRT Mongers. There are the guys that like the MPs (massage parlors) and FY,I HLH is a MP with hotel rooms. Overall the MP girls with some rare exceptions are not the best looking chicas in San Jose. You will find many more lookers in the HDR/KL than you will ever see in HLH or NF.

Many younger guys prefer to do their shopping in the HDR/KL/SL. I am of this school of thought as well. I would recommend getting rooms reserved in the SL or the Amistad. Both of these plays or only a very short distance to the DelRey but have much nicer rooms without any chica fee. With the Amistad you also have a fantastic complimentary bfast every morning also.

I hope this information helps. Staying in the HDR is for newbies who do not know anything and have zero Spanish!

I would also highly recommend upgrading to the VIP gallery that way you can see picture of the types of chicas that can be found in the various venues. The CRT VIP can also save you alot of money around town and will pay for itself very quickly.

I hit 10-20 girls a day, and at $10 chica fee's, that would rape me...

girls at HLH are decent. girls at SL are same as HDR, just fewer.

bang for buck, HLH days, with trips to NF and Relax, nights at Pantera Rosa, Molin Rojo, Arcadas, Idem, and Le Grillon.
