Note some changes since your last review... Some rooms, perhaps all, have a/c. None of the 3 rooms we experienced had terra cotta floors, only carpet, one badly stained. Street noise is such a problem, that the hotel provides ear plugs. It would have been helpful if you had been consistent in identifying street noise, as you did with the Dunn's beautiful neighbour, The Britannia. Your comment about the possibility of noise there, discouraged us from choosing it. What a sad error. Similary, internal walls at the Dunn are paper thin, and even conversations held in a normal speaking voice can be overheard. Again, the hotel is aware of this and posts signs, (albeit quite attractive ones) throughout the building, encouraging guests to be quiet. No privacy is possible however. This hotel seems to now be attracting undesirables, such that my husband and I were awakened at 4 AM by the return of our neighbour, his male friend and a prostitute. We unwillingly overheard the enthusiastic sexual activities of this menage a trois, for at least an hour. To be fair, the Management was very sympathetic when we complained, and immediately arranged for an alternate room. I can't imagine how I would have explained that behaviour if we had been travelling with Ch*ldren. This was not an isolated incident, as the same two fellows brought another young woman to their rooms on at least one other occasion during our stay. We noted that many of the other guests were males travelling alone or in groups. The only little touches we found in our rooms, came from bed bugs, not flowers. Both my husbsand and I, and the couple with whom we were travelling, still show the evidence of numerous bites. All in all, this was a very unacceptable experience. The RAC rate for this hotel puts it at the top of your $ classification. But I've had much better experiences in much less expensive hotels. I strongly recommend that Fedors remove this hotel from their recommended list.

I stayed there a couple weeks ago and probably will not go back. All the comments are true. Plus they screwed up my reservation....told me I was late. 11:00 PM at night.... my reservation said 11:45.... I said then I'm early...the desk lady...no 11:45 AM..... frigggginnnnn check in time is 3:00 PM...my plane didn't land until 9:30PM. Bottom Line...had to stay in a delux bug infested room. LOL

Fine stay away
Then I can get the room I like
I use other CRT hotels but Hotel Dunn Inn is what I like best
I wanted my room done up for when I returned with a favorita
For 10 buck the maids pimped my room with flowers candies and ice plus the towels were made into swans Oh and the radio was playing good musica

What do you have an interest in this noisy small room dump......
I normally do not take the time to go out of my way to note a bad hotel but this one is it lock stock and barrel.... this hotel is a DUMP period. Pay the extra 10-30 bucks and stay at presidente Amistad, SL, Amon plaza, Thomas hotel, Castillo....ANYWHERE but there... noisy and loud and small rooms. BTW you can have that overpriced POS all to yourself. To be fair they do have a good breakfast though.

I'll have to agree with nhhhank.....i have stayed at numerous places in the gulch, and enjoyed the DunnInn...bathroom was a little small, but then again, i have put on a little weight....food was excellant for all meals...good computers, nice big comfortable bed and very clean...the Presidente spa suite is my favorite ( for a man of my magnatude) but the rules seem a little excessive....I had a few bites on me after my stay, but it wasn't from bugs

I have no intrest in the Dunn Inn other than staying there 10 times with not a problem
So yes they know me so I do get good service
Bed bugs Hey that can happen at the Ritz in Paris see it on the news all the time Yes there is a lot of noise due to a busy intersection but it quites down late in the evening so do other places(ever heard 7:13 express)
I am going to be in CR in may and I will stay at the Dunn Inn and the La Amistad I like both places so I split my time
I as know this was started as a joke I want to know who the two guys were
As for the report sent to the travel guide was written by the wife
Would the husbands tale been more positive 8) 8)
