I've been waiting for someone to start this thread!!

Much better night last night overall than the previous week, where some of the performances were execreble. As the judges noted, the cute frizzy-haired blond (Megan?) with the ugly arm tattoos could definitely have a career in the industry - lots of talent and style. Personally though, I thought the rock star stuff by the last guy covering the Stones "Satisfaction" was way over the top and not nearly worthy of the praise received. Would love to see him get knocked out early, but doubt it will happen.

Although it didn't start out better. The first 4 contestants were pretty bad last night, #5, the 16 year old red head Allison from LA was awesome, as was #7, the long haired lass Megan with the Winehouse like voice was great. I was hoping #1 Jasmine, the young black girl would have done better, she was fantastic in the preliminaries but don't think she'll make the top 12.

I agree completely with your assessment of that last guy that did the Stones song, way over the top and thought it was awful, he'll make it though and think he'll be the one to beat.

Unfortunately that freak show Norman Gentle will garner enough votes to knock out one of the deserving top 12.

The ONLY way to watch the show is on DVR. I can't stand 1 second of Paula or that ass Seacrest. The show begins and ends with Simon.

Haven't seen that one person yet where I go...OK, that person is really good! I like the Danny guy a lot from the 1st week, but I may be more caught up in his story.

I started watching the show at 8:30 on DVR...a half hour after the show begins at 8pm. At 9:40 the show went LIVE!!! That means that in the first 70 minutes 30 MINUTES WERE COMMERCIALS!!!! Phuck em!!!

Next week I start watching at 8:45.




I'm in LUV with Jasmine... VERY Unfortunate situation! Going first is never good and she didnt perform well its true..but DAMN is she lovely. She won't make it but I hope they might bring her back as a wildcard...The redhead looks too much like my ex wife so I dont want to see any more of her, sorry Gay Jerry Lewis dude,,,PUH - LEASEEEE ....go aWAY!!! I think he will now fortunately.. Mishavonna is a dead ringer facially for PINK who I like alot, and think she should've done SO WHAT instead, and would have nailed it.

Im also falling for Kara...she is FAR more intelligent than that drunk flasher sitting next to her....seriously Paula has got to go!!! Last week she could barely speak she was so high!! But Kara's a smart little cookie, albeit a bit long in the tooth for me nowadays ...reminds me of the Southern Italian descended twattarellas I grew up with....maybe I need to ween off the latinas and hit Italy this year!!!

Your predictions are right on with mine, assuming that jackass Norman doesn't get voted through, but I think he may.

You guys are also completely right about watching on DVR, no way I can handle this show in full without fast forwarding through the commercials, and Paula.

Kara, she really is spot on in her assessments.

Did anybody had it for that Latin cutie Tatiana Del Toro? I know she was annoying but I could ride her. Too bad that she is gone. Could not sing but love those hips.

( although he seems a bit "sweet")

Other favorites include:

Lil Rounds- expect her to go deep in the competition

Scott MacIntyre- He will get a lot of sympathy votes, but seems to be a good performer.

Adam Lambert- I expect him in the top 5

Danny Gokey- my darkhorse to win it all

Ricky Braddy - Perhaps my second favorite to win.

As far as Del Torro, wow what a horrible looking mouth. I don't mean her terrible laugh or demenor either. I think her entire mouth area is busted..


Others still need to grow on me. I'm not too impressed by the girls yet..

I agree with your assessments. I think Gokey will be in the top three, at the very least. However, he is the frontrunner and not a darkhorse. The betting sites give him the best odds of winning at 3:1.

IMO, Del Toro was an embarrassment to Hispanics worldwide.
