Guys I was in the Mall de San Pedro this afternoon for about 15 minutes and I left wondering what today was. In all the many, many times I have been there, I have always seen a lot of hot chicas and even a few pros that I reconized. I swear that today it was like walking into the REY at 9pm on a Saturday night and watching the pu*sy parade . Now I know that every chica there was not a puta (very few were) but there were hot sexi chicas dressed like DR putas everywhere I looked Seriously there were easily 3-400 hot chicas there.

Now before Spanky or someone else makes some wisecrack about my bad eyes , let me say , yes they are bad but not so bad that i could not tell how many sexi chicas were there. Also, I even heard 2 different Ticos commenting on it.

I had lunch at the mall one day this week and I agree, there was a non-stop parade of beauties! Sure there are plenty of mama ticas y gorditas too but there are always soooo many stunners in the crowd. I don't know what it is about the girls here. They almost ALL know how to attract men like a bear to honey. And they know it too! But I find the situation to be the same wherever you go here. Lots of pretty girls and most of them ooze sensuality. It is not just the "working" girls who have the look like they could rock your world, they all do! And it is not an accident. They dress to kill and expect to be acknowledged for their effort. A lingering stare, a smile and a nod and you can make their day without being disrespectful. I think that the malls just concentrate their numbers in a more confined space.

I have concluded that the number one sport for the men in Costa Rica is girl watching! Futbol is a distant second! Sure, they all got worked-up the other day for the World Cup qualifier with Honduras but all of the men participate in girl watching every day. It is part of their culture. The women know this and play the game too! It is alll good clean fun as long as everyone plays respectfully.

The semester started at UCR. The fees were due on the first day, just like in the U.S.

Very correct QBF!! Most of the DR chicas, and those from other lugares go out of their way to not be reconized when not working. Many are married or have boyfriends and the vast majority of their families do not know what they (the chicas) do!!! . If you want to really get on the bad side of a working chica just approach her in the mall when she is with amigos, novio/ esposo, or even worse, familia.

Excellent advice, BB57. I have had them surreptitiously get my attention in order to give me a little wave but would never consider approaching. I had a girl I had never seen before slip her name and number onto my table at the cafe just inside the south entrance of Mall San Pedro (never called because she looked not quite ripe).

One of the best areas for girl watching is on the second floor beauty salon area around 4-6pm on a Friday or Saturday.

Screw the mall, I picked up a 20yr old with no K*ds at the corner restaurant across for the Morazon 3 years ago. She was a waitress and spoke a little english and was very excited about being approached by an american. I never offered any money, just invited her after work to my room at the Morazon and then to Key Largo later that night. She had a blast and stayed all night. It was my last day in CR and she didn't have a phone but I assured her I would be back in 2 month's and we could spend some quality time together. I offered her $50 in the morning and she said she couldn't accept it, but we settled on $25. if my memory is right. These girls are out there we just have to search without being to obnoxious. I never did see her again as when I returned the restaurant had closed. She will miss my tongue forever, but I won't miss all that hair between my teeth.
