I enjoy reading about all your exploits and "accomplishments" in CR, but IMO the above comment is total bullshit.

For some reason, you have painted ALL women with an incredibly large brush. And it just isn't true. Some may say that we always pay for it, one way or another. But that doesn't mean that every woman is out there selling their pu$$y.

Believe it or not, there are women out there who will not just go out and phuck anybody for the right price, or any price for that matter. With that attitude, you just might find this out the hard way some day. But I hope not. YMMV

My advice to you for what it is worth is to stay in the Del Rey-SL and maybe, with a wingman, a couple of MPs.

$200 offered in a mall to a chica you do not know and with no espanol would be like walking around with a big sign saying "hey I am a rich, dumb gringo trying to molest young Ticas".

In many of the malls, especially the Mall de San Pedro, there will be many "pros" shopping, but unless you know them from where they 'work', you will never know them from the 'non pros'. $200 is more than most of the clerks in the tiendas make in a month (this is not the USA) and is more money than most of them have ever seen at one time. BUT, THEY ARE NON PROS, and the vast majority of them would be highly, highly offended by the offer. Yes you might find one that would take the offer, but the odds are that before you find that one, another one will have told her Tico friends about the offer and you will have been liberated from ALL you cash

Yes it is a poor country compared to the USA but contrary to what many gringos seem to think, only a small percentage of Ticas are or have been putas; many more would have little problem with their conscious when it comes to robbing you.

But, if you have the above mentioned "game" and can speak enough espanol to carry on a conversation with a chica (and few non pros can comprehend even what the average pro can when it comes to the average gringo's broken espanol), you can score in the malls. But it will take time; a lot more than most guys here for a few days are willing spend, nor should they, when there is so much "sure thing" available. Hell I live here, am retired, speak so-so spanich, and live 3 blocks from the mall de San Pedro, but I seldom go there looking for chicas--only if bored and nothing to do, and how can that occur here when you have over 100 venues full of chicas more than willing to pluck your brains out and in most cases for less money than what it would cost you to maybe get a non pro in bed. AND for a lot less than the $200 you seem to want to throw away.

Take that $200 and do 2 'cien' chicas from the REY,4 chicas at HLH, or 8-10 chicas in the low rent MPs; AND HAVE FUN

well, yes, they would fit into the category of 1million...

walk into the mall of SP, and I think I can safely bet you any amount you want that if you offer 1mil to ANY girl in there, you will get her to her knees...

One thought that I always I try to remember which helps keep thing in perspective:

All of the girls do IT. What is takes to get into their pants can vary from anything as slight as a coy smile or as much as a wedding ring. You just need to decide how much YOU are willing to commit to!

I think that it would show the utmost disrespect to offer a girl in the mall money for sex. P4P is most often a last resort for the girls in CR. I believe that most of the girls that you would encounter in the mall are far from resorting to P4P.

If you would never ask a girl at the mall in the US for sex for money, why would you want to do it in CR?

What I find really odd about CR is this. BB says that on average a girl at a tienda might make $200/month, now when I've been down there things don't seem any cheaper than the malls here in the US, why are these people being paid so little, who's making all the money on sales?

Same thing with the Mas x I was in, certainly no cheaper than the US stores but I'm sure the girl ringing up your order is making a lot less than their US counterparts.

Well said, Western. They also are well aware that their femininity s a useful tool. They learn to manipulate their fathers, (okay..."influence"), before they are two! Some use their influence for good and some abuse their ability. It is a sorting process.

Main reason is that almost nothing is made in country and the import taxes are very high so I guess the answer to your question is "the government. But as is the case in almost every Latin country, there is almost no middle class; only the poor and the very very rich. Read very rich as the owners of the stores. Also seems that almost all of what is in the middle class own a small tienda. This might be why so many of the chicas will say they want to someday own a tienda of some kind.

When tuition is due at the University, there is a much higher chance of a "non pro" making an exception to her moral standards. They don't have Pell Grants in CR and education is important to these girls. Does anyone know what dates the tuition is due for the spring ,fall,summer semesters?

It's really interesting to me that this thread went in this direction.

It reminds me really of what a half ass monger I really am. I still cannot wrap my head totally around the p4p concept. Because of this, wondering what I'm going to have to pay isn't even in my head.

Let me preface this by saying I'm not trying to sound like the man or expect women to give it up simply because I give them a cute smile.


What I am saying is when at the mall in CR I act %100 the same way that I would at a mall here in the states. So my approach to a girl at the mall would be exactly the same in either place. But because CR is a p4p country, the minds of guys here immediately go in that direction i.e. "I wonder how much she would be".

So once you monger for so many years does one become like that? Why don't guys rely on themselves anymore and would rather just pay for it?

Now, I'm not a frugal guy by any means. But mentally I think I'm far far away from seeing a stunner at the San Pedro mall and wondering to myself how much she would be. Getting too far away from your natural talents to pull a girl can quickly be diminished playing this game. Nah, I don't want to get to that point.

And if it's any help, if you guys come across this situation don't go in the direction of money right away. See what's up, you're a good looking guy, if money comes up later then it does.

The idea here is to hook them with your swagger, the rest of the stuff works it way out.


Maybe I'll think differently in 15 yesars, but I certainly don't want to.

Besides Multi-Plaza and the San Pedro Mall what is the next largest mall in the San Jose area where more economically challenged chicas go to shop

More economically challenged chicas don't shop the malls. Check the shops within a couple blocks north or south of Central Ave and the Central Mercado. There are cheaper shops further from Central Ave but the danger increases depending on the 'hood.
