Hi guys I went over to the Horseshoe and wow those dealers were super. 6 girls 3 with bolt ons and 3 nice naturals . My first hand I got a blackjack. I stayed 3 hours the place was packed. Check it out. Free drinks and buffet. One girl clapped her titties when the players got a good hand. Thanks lube what a blast. One of the funnest things I have done.

Imagine if they had hotel rooms.......utopia?

This post is total bullshit. I went over to the Horseshoe 4 straight days this past weekend at different times & asked various employees about the "topless blackjack". They all told me they did not have such a thing & usually laughed.

But, a girl I picked up at the SL on sat. night told me she was beginning dealer school on monday & after she was trained she would be dealing at the Horseshoe wearing a transparent brassiere-we"ll see if that happens, & she wasn't exactly well endowed.

On another note I ascended the first staircase and attempted to sit down at the pai-gow table & was told I could not play, that it was for Chinese people only. Wow, being discriminated against for the first time because of my race (caucasian) gave me a terrible feeling and a renewed empathy for the races that have been treated unjustly in our country's past.

I still say, I don't think there *IS* a third floor. Looking at the building from the outside, I don't see where a third floor could be???

They are going to build the 3rd floor as soon as they get approval and all the permits.

there is a third floor...i seen it, as many have posted before ...its a small room that was full of asians playing cards ....as i entered i was given dirty looks from all the players then someguy in a suit said "sorry sir this is a pvt game only" or in enghish "get the phuck out" (all the asians were smoking ...all men but 2 and the woman were at least 80)...also i met a girl that was in charge of the slots ...very hot so i made a move on her ..told her i take her for breakfast when she got off which was 6:00 am ...i ran out of gas at 4:30 and left ..i came back the next 3 nights looking for her and found her the last night and she acted like she didnt know me...never found out if she was playing me or worried about her job..the next time i came back...but she has a ass to die for !!!!

I have played poker on the third floor I believe last sept. Very small could only hold 2 tables. Just 1 flight up from the chinese games

I now know why business SUCKS at the Horseshoe Casino. I went over Tuesday afternoon to play some blackjack and look for this "supposed" nude dealer blackjack on the 3rd floor. Like Sincity I was told that it didn't exist.However that wasn't the worst part. After I had played a shoe,the dealer cut 2 1/2 to 3 decks off the shoe. I complained to the supervisor and he shrugged his shoulders and said it was the house ploicy.I looked around at other tables,and sure enough it was. I asked the manager to come over (I've known him for several years) and he abruptly said that 2 decks was the standard.I said OK but look at the shoe. It was closer to 3 decks,but he refused to even look.Then Frank,the casino host walked by and since he has been all over me to to play there,I asked him to look. He couldn't give less of a shit.I told him that I was done trying to find a fair game at the Horseshoe. I then had to wait 10 minutes to cash out my chips because they didn't have the correct change to pay the guy in front of me. I finall suggested that he take 5 dollars worth of colones which was fine with him. The cashier couldn't work that out.

So I'm done with trying to play there. There are many places to gamble that seem to want our business. I have met Lubeman and he seemed to be a nice guy who really wanted to make a go of the place,but as always,absentee ownership just doesn't seem to cut it.

VB , I completely agree with you and let me add my two cents. I have previously worked in the gaming industry as a casino dealer 20 years ago in Vegas prior to going back to college. As a gambling venue it would be hard for to give the Horseshoe above a 2 on a scale of 1-10 or above a "D-" or "F" if I were giving a letter grade. This is based primarily on the reasons you stated in your post. I am also baseing this on a SJO scale not a Vegas scale.

I have meet several of the owners there and they are nice guys but apparently don't know squat about gaming. Having their lovely looking host hang out with you while you are playing black jack or another table game is a completely useless experience for me in SJO. They are not going to go home with you so what's the point? Particularly when there are any number of women across the street who will go home with you and would hang out with you at the tables of any casino you brought them to in SJO.

Basically what I trying to say is the place strikes me as more of a clip joint , with gaming, than a legit gaming venue. If in SJO your money is better spent else where. For example if you are going to play black jack and buy in for $100 , playing $5-$10+ a hand, and you are trying to win some $$$, why do you need a lady who you not going to do anything with distracting you while your playing? They, the Horseshoe is just trying to butter you up and make you feel like a bigshot. You could take the same $100, or less, across the street and get the best looking lady in the building to go to your room with you and then get a real good shot. Across the street is pretty much a sure thing. About the only thing I could say positive about the Horseshoe is that they did a nice job remodeling.

In terms of gambling venues I would rate the the Clarion Amon Plaza, the best place in the gulch, based primarily on the strength of their poker games & tourney's with BK Tuna who does a a real good job, then I would give the Colonial a strong grade , good gaming , friendly service and nice restaurant and great location. The Fiesta , by the Prez third and give it a" C+" for a grade. The Morazon I would give a C to.

Away from the gulch I like the Fiesta by the airport. Good gaming, good atmosphere and good latin music in the evenings. Great place to take a date or party with a group of friends. The Casino at the Best Western Iraszu I would give a "C", the casino at Barcelo Palacio is small with no action so I got to give it a "D" , the casino at the Tryp Corobici isn't bad, I would give it a "C+" and would give the same grade to the Raddison by the Motel Eden. The White House is to snooty for me.

Just my two cents. Hope to see a few of you guys this weekend at the Clarion or some of our other favorite venues.

I think the horseshoe looks great. The felt on the tables is the nicest anywhere. 1st class job. I hope the businesss goes well . I donated a few bucks on some play last week. Keep up the good work. H.
