I have just spent the weekend there and everything posted above I can agree with. Though they were havng a internet problem this weekend, so if you have emailed them recently their response may be slow. I especially like the fact that they do not rip you off on the fully stocked mini'bar in the room. Bottled water, beer, licquar, pop, and snacks all decently priced. Standard rooms on the small side but it serves tthe purpose for me.

Do they still have the Happy Hour from 4:00 to 6:00?

Real friendly, pretty bartender and cheap Happy Hour. In Nov. it was 3 bottles of Pilsner for 1800 col. I was only there for a couple of Happy Hours but the hotel manager even bought us a round of beers. Not bad: 7 bottles of cold beer served in a hotel bar for 3600 col. plus tip.

I'll be in town for the from Feb. 24 until late Mar. I'll update if it has change.

Pura Vida

Does anyone know if you are not staying there can you bring a chica to the restaurant with you for dinner?

Brother Joker99--When I stayed there I saw multiple folks including 2 unescorted ladies walk into the bar, so I imagine it would be OK to bring a friend for dinner, especially as they are more "monger-friendly" now.

Enjoyed staying at the Dunn Inn on my last trip. It is across the street from Casa Vino in Barrio Amon near the Amon Plaza Hotel. MP NF and HLH/Azul are 100 meters up the hill and left & right respectively about 100 meters.

Restaurant was nice, food good, and staff service oriented. Prices reasonable. I stayed in one of the suites with a jacuzzi tub and full bar for parties. Internet cafe worked fine with good speed. Digital safe in the room. DVD player and decent sound system. California King in the master. No guest fee. The staff all wear uniforms with the chicas in short tight mini skirts and button popping blouses replete with hair, makeup, and twinkling flirtatious smiles at the ready.

Nice blend of business people, eco tourists, Euro tourists, and a few of us kindred travelers. Overall kind of a relaxed and mellow location with taxi service available 24/7 from the bell stand.

I met the new owner and GM, Scott (I think). He made a point to meet and greet all the guests and ensured my visit was Bang ON. I sensed he was very interested in catering to CRT members. (I had checked in with my VIP card.)

I noticed, he and his staff conduct team meetings every morning toward ongoing business process improvement and guest relations. There was a parade of architects and engineers meeting throughout one particular morning reviewing rolls upon rolls of drawings & plans leading me to believe progressive changes are in the works.

There was always fresh coffee available in a self serve help yourself style set-up and the bar tender makes a delicious mind saving spicey Bloody Mary with a generous pour.

Split you trip between a couple of hotels then you can make up your own mind
I also find that this can helps clear a bit of drama that I bring upon myself
