The thing about the Los Suenos fishermen is that
1 they got plenty of money
2 they are married to an overweight gringa(probably 20 or 30 years)
3 they see a great looking colombiana or tica and she quotes $200 or higher
4 they know tomorrow night that they'll be back home with the wife
5 this chance will not come again until the next fishing trip probably 6 months away
6 It's a no brainer for them
7 they will remember this 45 minute or 1 hour session and dream about it for months
When you consider these points, you really can't blame them

Truly a case of what goes around comes around. When the HDR first opened almost all of the customers at both the hotel and at the BM were fisherman on their way or returning from fishing on the Pacific coast.

When I lived in the US, it was common to spend about $100 to $150 at an AMP. I didn’t think anything of it until I moved here and got spoiled.

Just like a lot of you, I used to pole vault into the AMP and would not leave until I the tubes were thoroughly cleansed and $$$ was not an object.

But today, I have so much more choice and I can walk out if I don’t see something that strikes me because I know a block away there is another stable and the price is going to be around 30 to 40 for some really good stuff.

I guess it is just perspective. My perspective is if I don’t have to, I will not pay retail when I can get the same quality or better on-sale. There is an excellent supply here in town and demand is falling.

Yes, and I am sure you could get prime rib on a paper plate and eat it standing up (MP). The price might be better but the overall experience may be lacking, IMHO.

In a Country with an average salary of 50 to 75 per week, there is no reason to be spending cien for any of them, but its your money, so I wont judge. Especially since supply outweighs demand, and 30 to 80 is still a lot of money. I have never spent cien, and have had some real great experiences, one of my favs was hot one from the SL, 60, 3 hours. Maybe when Im 70, pot bellied, and gray I might have to change my thinking, but for now I like to think that keeping in good shape, dressing well, and having a little game seems to help keep the price reasonable. I like the game anyway, so working the crowd, hitting the spots, for the gem that will give good service and time for my price is part of the fun.
