As I stated earlier, been super busy "recruiting" El Silencioso-style material to invite to the gran fiesta. Not an easy chore considering he has been vying for Monger-of-the-Year for the last 4 years AND he keeps increasing the frequency and duration of his returns here 8)

So, with 6 days and counting until mi buen compa requires a "special" police escort from the Airport to the La Amistad, I have especially invited quite a few new faces to your party. I don't know about not wanting her, but I do notice she posses a certain quality that you adore MG. And for that, I can easily move to the side, but at the very least, one of you two need to tell me if it was alright or not. :)

Thanks for the recruiting effort, EdB! Arriving 5 days before might not be enough time to do some myself. El S might really never be able to live this down and the Chicas will talk about the festivities for a helluva long time as well.

The name tag idea was nixed for the 2007 Anniversary Party because the majority here did not want chicas to know their CRT affiliation nor their identification...probably still a good idea IMO as chicas have easy access to our site...

Good point, PR. However, my experience at the 2006 party, which was the much better function, was that the name tags worked very well as a social lubricant. The new guys (as I was at the time) were able to connect with the members whose names I recognized. I was told by many CRTers that the nametags helped break the ice and made for a more festive atmosphere. In fact, Admin was, I believe, going to bring them back for the ill fated 2008 party.

In this situation, there are many fewer guys and so no one need be a stranger for too long. In my case, on any given day in CR, there are several guys who greet me with "CIAOCIAO!" so it doesn't matter to me.
