Who is down to play a little Hold'em that weekend?

Bktuna runs a great poker room there. They have a Sunday 3pm tourney. It's $55 entry, with no rebuys.

I will be there on Sunday @ 3pm and possibly Monday @ 8pm.


Btw, the "I'm here to play Poke-her" joke is played out.

Bktuna is that a person or place? I am going down to CR in March and I am a huge poker player so is there a poker tournament every Sunday?

BKTuna is a real live person. Yes there is a tournament on Sundays as well as other days. PM him for complete info or do a search using him as the author.

BKTuna is a CRT member. His name is Boyd, and he runs the poker room at the Clarion Amon Plaza Hotel casino.

They 3 weekly tourney's now, Sun, Mon, and Thur. Look at the end of this thread for th emost up to date info.

They also run a daily NL cash game, $1/2 and 2/5.

I thought the Sunday tourney had 1 rebuy before the break? And the Monday tourney is no rebuys? At least thats how it was when I was there 2 weeks ago.

It looks like it's all no-rebuy now. It's better that way IMO, no more do-overs for bad playing.

I'm not running the tourney. I'm playing in the Amon Plaza regular tourney and I was just trying to get some more guys to play.

The Sunday tourney has one rebuy before the break. It starts at 3pm.

The Monday and Thursday tourneys are at 8pm and are $60 no rebuys.


The cash games start daily at 3:30

Boy is this a tough one. For $55, I could (almost, at least) get laid...but, on the other hand, if you come in the $$, you can get laid even more. Hmmmm. How many players normally in a tourney?

The numbers may have changed, but with a couple of re-buys, it is usually about 24-30 entries, I think.

I'm game for a tourney if we get enough CRT interest. Sunday is a great day to do one.

CRT tourney's aren't regularly scheduled, they just kidn of happen. If there were a bunch of guys coming around a certain date, we would usually try to put something together. Otherwise, there are always the casino tourney's.

In early to mid-October, there will be a series of tournements at the Radisson. The buy-ins are higher ($100, $300, $500, up to $1,500) than we usually play. It's like the Costa Rican World Series of Poker. I'm making plans to come back for it.
