Reading this thread first bring to mind the saying; “You get what you paid for” and second even vets do not read their own advice. My $.02.

For the price of Casa Vino you could stay at much nicer places for less money.

This sounds like a quote that would have been said by our recently-retired former President.

PS, You could take out either of the underlined group of words and the sentence would be much better.

Some laundry list of complaints there Loin King. I have reread all of Florida's posts in this thread and the only problem he cites, other then the monetary dispute, is that when he stayed there in August the cable was out for a week. Just goes to show that the old adage "YMMV" is alive and well.

The funny thing is ID that's not all of it. I had more to say but got tired of typing. I could go on but whats the point? I would have posted this last February but didn't want to hurt Florida from staying there. Even with the minor problems, like the answering machine not working and you couldn't hear the other person talking on the phone, The hard mattress in the downstairs room, Toilets not flushing or backing up. Should I go on? And trust me Florida's not a cheapskate, He does pretty good for himself with 4 Plus trips a year he could stay at the White House if it wasn't so far away. Remember when he used to rent the Penthouse suite at the Presidenti? We where very happy there till the dress code changed. Florida's a very honest person and to think Casa Vino was upset with his payment arragement is just crazy. Maybe if Casa Vino acually had someone local instead of sending other CRT members over to collect payments maybe things would be different. I wouldn't send my friends over to collect rent payments on my houses, its just bad business and unprofessional. Like I've said in the past, if its to hot in the kitchen get out. This is not directed toward you ID, I don't even know you. But I am going to stick up for whats right, The TRUTH and YMMV.

And I do not know you so we are on equal ground. The "TRUTH" like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In almost every disagreement there are three sides not two as you well know. Florida can give his side and CV will give theirs. We the readers of the accounts will never really know what happened because there is no impartial account available. I know you will claim that you are just stating the facts but your relationship with Florida calls your impartiality into question.

I stated previously and will again that the ultimate judge of the of the merits of each sides position will be BOA. They may not rule correctly but their ruling will be impartial, final and binding. Neither side has a red flag to throw seeking an official review. I invite the vindicated party to post the results and until that enough has been said.

Why has enough been said, because you say so? Just what is your obsession with this issue anyway, LK posted pertinent info and raised legitimate questions regarding the situation (HE WAS THERE) and all you offer is pot shots and try to shut him down as well.

I remember them mentioning the towel shortage and making sure their chicas from HDR were "towelworthy" before choosing them.

Paco I have told you before and since you seem a little dense.I will repeat it.
I do not answer to you any more then you answer to me. I and you have the right to express our opinions and if our opinions differ so be it we move on without letting our personal animosity interfere. Hopefully you will finally get it. Peace

OMG, are we still wasting bandwidth and server space on this trifling issue? How about we all call a moratorium on the bushwa blase bonetite bulltschitt until, as Brother Id said, BoA makes an adjudication (no, I'm not taking his side)? This sucker is taking on Jardyce vs. Jardyce dimensions.

Except in this case, including ID's side there are 4, which makes a square. :D

Don't worry about it Paco. :) I think ID has some sort of a position with Casa Vino since he lives in the area fulltime. Maybe he's there new Manager? God knows they need one. I often wonder when people respond to a post what is there real position? Has he stayed there? :?: Does he do repairs on the building? :?: Is he friends with the past-present Manager-Owner? :o Or is he here to just bust everybody's balls? The facts are before you believe it or not and frankly I don't give a dam what he believes, he wasn't THERE. Now can we get on with more habital locations like the Clarion, SL, DR, Morazon, Best Western, Holiday Inn, Presidenti, Little Havanna, Dunn Inn, did I forget any? :P
