Brother Pierre6242483--What's the numbers? Your phone # ? Just kidding. Anyway about your question--Look into the Pangea Hostel. It's spread over 3 buildings, has a rooftop bar, heated pool w/ Jacuzzi and wetbar, plenty of computers for client use, some rooms with private baths, free calls to North America, high-speed WiFi, their own airport shuttle. Mongering on-site could be iffy--though you might, er, "strike up a conversation" with some of the female bacpackers. Right close to Harry's Bar Poas for a friendly tavern with cheap eats. here's the site:

There is a hostel about one block from Hotel Castillo on a corner on the opposite side of the street. That is also within 1 block of NF. Sorry, but I do not remember the name of the place. However, it is managed by Johanna (formerly of SL). She is trying to upgrade the place over time to attract a better clientele. It might be a good place for an MP guy.

Turn right as you exit Hotel Castillo and start walking down the sidewalk. Pass NF. Next corner, turn right. There are two hostels. In fact, there are several hostels right around that area.

Brother Pierre#'s--You were looking for a more personalized response than this Post but if you x-ref these links with Brothers El Viejo and Steven1's
posts, you'll have it all.

P. S. I know Ms. Johanna only by reputation--but that reputation is sterling. I believe anything she's involved with should be your "first look".

If you are loking for a chica friendly place Hostel Marruecos is in that area too. It is actually an MP with some girls and "take-away" from the HDR is okay too. The place has gotten some mixed reviews. You should be able yo mine the reports for yourself in this forum.

hostel panga is the one in the area you are looking for. You have to share a room to get the cheap rate. Lots of back pakers if that is your thing. I took a girl to the 3rd anniversery party from New Zeland who was staying there and have met others that stayed there. Even thought about it with my K*ds so they could see the hippie stuff. But after listening to advice given on this board decided not to stay with the K*ds.

Me personaly, I stay at CRT sponsor type places with no chica fee or guest limmit. And give an extra dicount if paying with cash.

I don't understand how cheap you are looking for. Morazan is pretty cheap in the 30s. I can't imagine bringing someone back to a hostel or maybe you are just doing the MP thing.
