Jr. suites at the Presidente have only 1 king size bed :!:

Sorry forgot you newbies never knew the old Presidente.

In dec. 2001, I stayed on the fourth floor of the Presidente in the old section. Although I was by myself the room had 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. I paid $45 for the room. Every chica I brought back asked me about the other room. they were building the rail and every morning at 8am the jack hammers would start.

Glad you took the time to clear up the impression on that anytime 2 guys shared a Jr Suite they also shared a king size bed. What puzzles me is that seeing you knew that was the situation in the Presidente before the remodel why you chose to make the comment.

If you can't afford your own room, you probably shouldn't even go in the first place. You can always save on food. My first couple of trips, I ate maybe once a day.

the only way it really works is if you plan on an orgy type environment which most chicas are NOT into. As such would not advise it. More negatives than positives.

Presumably even if they shared a room they would each have their own bed and it would be unbelievably cheesy for a guy to do the deed on the other fellow's bed and then go to sleep in his own. OTOH, it is also unbelievably inconsiderate for a wingman to hog a room for 6-8 hours at a time while Pac's buddy, the fellow who paid for it, was left sleeping on a hide-a-bed. So you never know how a friend might wind up sticking it to you.

Sounds like Caveman has it worked out anyway: sharing a room for a couple of nights in Jaco to save a little money (no TLN's those nights but no big deal) and the other 6 nights in SJ each gets their own room each night to make up for whatever they might have missed out on in Jaco. Caveman and his wingman might want to work out the ground rules ahead of time to try and prevent any disputes that might arise while sharing that room at the Cocal if/when they bring back any chicas. For example, maybe you could put a 1-2hour time limit on whoever gets the room first, the next guy gets the same amount of time (assuming you guys and both the chicas aren't into the orgy scene), you DON'T use each other's bed to do the deed and no chicas after 2am so you both can get some sleep? Can't help you out on the various suites at the SL but maybe others can chime in on that question.

Prolijo. I hope you knew that I was being a little bit tongue in cheek when I wrote that. :)

I have a couple more questions that are a little off topic, but I dont want to start any new threads.

1. Has anybody stayed in the OSO room at SL? That may be a good room for the final three nights of my stay.

2. Is there still a discount for the girls at Little Havana for CRT cardholders? What is the hourly rate these days?

3. What are the best strip clubs to go to these days? That topic has not been touched lately.

4. Is it possible to rent ATVs in Jaco to just ride around. (no tours)

5. Any companies offer VIP discounts for one day rafting trips?

6. Does the Beatle Bar still offer any VIP discount?

Believe me, I am doing my research. Just couldnt find these answers. I know my trip is three months away, but want to get everything reserved now. Thanks for you continued input..

I can't help you with most of that but I can take a stab at a couple of them.

1) I'm sure somebody must have stayed in the room you're asking about  , just not me :)

2) There was, then there wasn't and now there is again although they may not be calling it a chica discount this time around. I believe the rate is now 25K colones or just over $46 at today's exchange rates

3) "Best" is always subjective and YMMV. Best looking talent where you can go without getting ripped off too badly is probably Pantera Rosa and/or D'Pelufo. Best in terms of decent talent with relatively cheap sessions available in the club would probably include Le Grillon, Arcada and Molino Rojo. But you don't necessarily have to pick any one club to go to. For example, the last 3 places I mentioned are all reasonably close together. You can walk (carefully) between Arcada's and Molino. Le Grillon is only a few blocks away, but you'll probably want to take a cab between there and the other 2 clubs since you'd be going there at night when that area is not so safe to wander around.

4) Don't know but I'm sure mopeds must be available.

5) Again, don't know of any. BTW, research is fine but as far as wanting to get everything reserved now, that is not really necessary for anything other than the hotel room that you asked about in #1. Any MP's, strip clubs, tours or moped rentals can easily be booked when you get there.

6) Again, not sure. It was last reported as of last summer the answer was no, however the discount was never that huge anyway and if you're going to Jaco you're probably going to go there anyway. I suggest you bring your card, show it to them when you get there and ask them directly. It also wouldn't hurt to act real disappointed and angry if they tell you know. I doubt that would change much, but it couldn't hurt to let them know that some of their customers might be happier, stay longer and spend more money if they brought back the meager discounts they used to offer.
