I really tried to research this topic prior to posting a new thread but was unsuccessfull. I will be going to SJ and Jaco in late April for my fourth trip, but first with a wingman (his first). I was looking at ways to cut costs and was wondering if sharing a room would put a damper on the trip? What have been some of the positive and negative experiences some of you have had pertaining to this topic? As always, I really appreciate any advice from the true CR veterans.
To me I would guess it has to do with the physical layout of the hotel room. Back when I first started coming to Costa Rica I always came with the same wingman. We had know each other for many years so we always took a junior suite at the El Presidente. It worked well because there were two completely separate bedrooms. I would not have accepted an arrangement if there was one bedroom with 2 separate beds but that is a personal preference. Other might be comfortable with that type of arrangement.
