Hey again Damon,

1. Hotel del Rey. $10.00 per chica per visit fee charged by the hotel. Girls available nearly 24/7 in the Blue Marlin bar onsite.

2. Key Largo is not a hotel. It's a dance club/bar.

3. Sportsmen's Lodge.

4. Hotel la Amistad. This place has undergone extensive remodeling and is an excellent, girl-friendly choice. Bring your earplugs, as it can get noisy. Best breakfast in the area included with room.

5. Hotel Amon Plaza.

6. Hotel Europa downtown.

7. Hotel Presidente

8. Hotel Freebird

9. Hotel Asia...naw, forget it.

10. Casino Hotel Morazan.

Many of the hotels listed above offer a discount to CRT V.I.P. (i.e. paid) members: Sportsmen's, Amon Plaza, Amistad, Presidente.

Hope this helps. As always, feel free to PM me with specific questions.

Cheers!

Other options for lodging, all of which are chica-friendly:

1. Think about renting Casa Vino, a CRT-V.I.P. sponsor. Bachelor pad with steam shower, projection TV/vid system, full kitchen, table for four and poker playing equipment, safe box. There is also a smaller unit on the premises, and you have the option of renting the entire house. 1 block from Zona Blue (which is incidentally, a hotel. Sorry I forgot to mention ZB in my above list).

2. Royal Dutch Hotel and Casino. A bit farther from the HDR, not exactly "downtown," but close enough.

3. Apartamentos Sudamer. An apartment setup, very inexpensive but still pretty nice. No chica prohibitions unless you're a jerkoff and disturb your neighbors.

4. Vista Linda apartments. Again, not downtown, but a 10 minute cab or bus ride away. Good price.

Frankly, once we leave the area within 5 blocks in any direction from the del Rey, there are numerous other options. The ones I've listed in my last two replies are either near the centro or have been rented by other CRT'ers in the past.

All the properties I have listed are chica-friendly, although some may have restrictions (only one girl per visit/dress code at the Presidente) or charge chica fees (Amon Plaza without the CRT V.I.P. discount).

I stayed at the Sleep Inn for my first three nights in Sj (as well as the upcoming last two), and fee or not, I saw several guys with chicas while I was there. I'll be making it a primary option from now on, and would even pay the fee to bring a chica back; it's that nice a place for its price range, and it's right next door to the Del Rey. With the Colonial Casino, it's a much better combo. The SI is just what I've wanted, a nicer-type Super 8 or Comfort Inn-type place in the Gulch. The rooms are better than a whole load of other options. Quiet too; I was in a 1st-floor room facing Parque Espana, and while I could still hear the buses, they were muted.

Last I heard their chica fee was $25.00. To each his own, but that is just not for me. Why would you with so many other options. I have had a chica tell me it's her favorite and she thought it was the nicest. I prefer the Presidente. The Balmoral is not very nice but they do have big rooms and are chica friendly, check that, chica tolerable,a s the hottie at the reception desk, Marta, gives me a dirty look. THe other one gives me a look like she wants to party, hehehe

Doesn't the Balmoral still have a 20.00 guest fee?

Paco,

I have heard they do, but twice I have been there and never asked for a fee just to sign the guest in, which was done under an assumed name. YMMV.

Chica fee is $25 for sure.

Very nice hotel, close to everything, good breakfast, 24 hr restaurant, good staff, casino on grounds and a real nice Irish Pub right next store with great lunch specials and cold draft beer.

But the chica fee is $25 each

Some other hotels gathered from the CRT Discount listings:

1) Hotel Dunn Inn--10% discount/ fee waived
2) Hotel Vesuvio----don't know--check their site
3) Hotel Inca Real--20% discount/ fee waived
4) Hotel Castillo-----min. 10% discount/ fee waived
5) Clarion Amon Plaza--book thru Nixon at their Casino

Talk about an embarassment of riches!!

What...cold draft beer!? I didn't think there was an establishment in the entire country of CR that had that! It's akin to real ketchup and cold milk...very hard to find in CR!

Forget the ketchup and pile on the Lizano Chile sauce. You'll be hooked for life. Fortunately, I've got a source here in the states.

I LOVE the Lizano sauce, but occasionally I would like to have 'real' ketchup as well. Is your source a commercial one? I'd like to know where I can purchase it here in the States.

Unfortunately no. I have a neighbor from El Salvador and he goes down there about every other month or so and brings me back a half dozen bottles each time. If you live in south Florida, I would imagine that there has to be a hispanic grocery store or two that sells Lizano.

Maybe, Marta is thinking what does she got that I don't.
