MIKE

It depends on what year it was. The Raiders invaded Los Angeles for a couple of years. Even Los Angeles did not have enough people on parole to fill stands. One cannot purchase Raiders tickets unless he or she has a rap sheet of at least two pages, half of which must be felonies.

Most people in LA were happy to see them go back to Oakland. 8)

I worked for the Los Angeles Coliseum Commission for years when the Rams, USC and UCLA all played there. :D When the Rams moved out and the Raiders moved in, most of the long time employees quit because it was not longer fun to work there. :( It was depressing and the good natured fans turned into thugs who tossed human excrement on one another and then fought each other instead of watching the game. :x

Dude! You need to modify your handle! JETBLAST :?: And you are talking up the GIANTS??? :?:  :P

As a West Coaster you are right..the Giants are the Class of the NFL now.

However, with that said, there is a growing rank of Jets supporters here and I am one of them.

The Bret Favre-led Jets are the most exciting team to watch this year. Plus, one big problem us West Coasters will always have with the Giants is the memory of their old coach, Parcells, or whatever that idiot's (loser) name was?

GO JETS!!!!

Well said EDB.. :) After last week this team has shown they can beat ANYONE. Favre has brought the latent talent of this team to light. They are PUMPED UP and have momentum now. Just hope they have shed that "lean-back" attitude they sometimes get when they are ahead in the 3rd qtr. Havent seen it too much this year so I'm hopeful...

J...E...T...S... JetsJetsJets!

:D :D well, looks like you have only one more time to watch "the most exciting team" this year :D :D :D time to put away the Jets Favre shirt with your Christmas ornaments :D :D jets....jets....jets......

This will be my 4th Superbowl in CR... I don't think I've ever actually seen the whole game! Of course, I have to wait for another year for the Skins to make a run.

Panther fan, SL is where the CRT party is this year. Go to the roll call section for details... I think it's $50 this year. Make sure you go this year, cause next year is the election! Entire CR is alchohol free a couple days before and after their election on Superbowl Sunday!

I went to the Super Bowl Party at the Sportsmen's Lodge last year and it was terrific. God willing and the creek don't rise I'll be back this year. Good value! Good time!

I was just over at SL and talking with some chicas... Seems they also have to "Pay the $50 entrance fee", at least this is what they believe.

Any truth to this? Seems the party would be much better having the place packed with chicas... It's doubtful they'll actually fork up the money...

That was true last year. Everyone pays!

The place will be very crowded. It is a lot of fun.

One year I went to the HDR to watch the New Years night football games. All of the Americans were watching the game while all the chicas watched the Gringos watching the game. There were dozens of chicas all around.

As soon as the game was over, the mongers switched from football to other sports. They started thinking about celebrating the joy of victory or the agony of da feet. It was't long until those dozens of chicas were all earning a living.
