On a side note about betting...I heard on a sports talk radio show that Vegas actually paid off the Philly in 5 games to win the Series after the game was suspended Mon. night. I do not have confirmation, but they said Vegas was still using the old rule that the game would have reverted back to the end of the 5th, with the Phillies winning 2-1.
MLB changed the rule in the offseason last year for WS only, but they said Vegas did not recognize it. I guess the question begs..would they have also paid off Phillies in 6 and Phillies/ Rays in 7 also?? Maybe some of our Vegas crowd can shed some light. Just curious.
