I will be in SJ in January and see where Dunn Inn has been remodeled. last time I was in town I stayed at the DR and SL. Thought I would try something new. Looks to be located good. Can anyone give me info on it? Are rooms ok? I know as in the case of SL some rms are better then others, any standard rooms at the Dunn better than others?

I have not been there since the re hab The standard rooms are Ok go for the deluxe Durika is a nice room as is the one next to it on the corner but gets morning sun food is good america and tico breckfast free coffee all day get a crt card the will wave the $11 chia fee and 10 % rooms that can save you enough for an exrta on the day you leave The staff is very help full Thats MHO I have stayed there 8 times MY home away from Home PM me with any ? I have never stayed there myself but have an amigo that wont go anywhere else and has been there many times. Has a nice bar and resturant area with a few girls hanging around at times. Is chica freindly and is just in general a nice/cute place to stay and does not have a monger reputation like some of the other places,, meaning if you meet a nice girl you dont have to worry about what she thinks when you tell her where your hotel is. But it is in barrio amon, which is a nice area,, but only a couple of blocks away from where I was mugged,, so always watch your back walking in barrio amon,, along with everywhere else in SJO. JD
