First, the airlines started charging for soft drinks, then came the baggage fees, then the charges for pre-selecting your seats. Buzzfla's response to my post regarding charging for pre-selecting seats got me to thinking...
the airlines could indeed charge for using the toilet. They could install a device in the toilet to gauge the actual weight or mass of the 'waste'. The charge for under a certain weight or mass could be $2.00, and anything over might be $5.00. It wouldn't surprise me :!:

The U.S. Airlines USED to be like that.

Remember UAL's : "Fly Me.....I'm Jackie".

The Feminists would NEVER stand for anything like that today.....(BITCHES!!)

It is against the law in the US to charge to use a bathroom. While they could do it on overseas flights, chances are the FAA would look very poorly on it.

Remember 20+ years ago when you could find toilets with "gumball machine" locks on the, you put your quarter in to use the can.

Well, that disappeared because it was made illegal many years ago.

Brother Blahblahsocal's FIRST post and he's talking shit about unions?? Anybody else join me in scorn? I mean, was it unions who drove the country into the financial ditch? Let's get real here.

I am neither pro or con union but I hardly think the UAW can claim clean hands in the auto industry troubles.
