It is more geared to the dialect in Espana, but they do throw lots of references to the differences of Latin American dialect. They have 15 minute podcasts and the format is a teacher setting with a student learning as you are. Get past the fact that teacher and student are Irish with a good brogue
I give it a solid thumbs up. Especially if Rosetta Stone is a little too expensive for yor budget.
Actually the Coffee Break Spanish people are from Scotland, but I agree. It's good free Spanish lessons for your iPod. There are plenty of others there too. Just look thru iPod U in the iTunes Store for free Spanish podcasts.
