Ignore the politics, if you can and just understand the main point that people are hoodwinked into doing foolish things all the time and while that might make them stupid, gullible or naive, it doesn't excuse the people that "tricked" them. And that argument is not some sort of "logic trick" or double speak.

The common thread that runs strongly through all the above referenced situations is greater power and knowledge possessed by those making the request--the realtors/brokers, the Prez, us in demanding pix. Ethics kicks in in restraining that power. Brother Palynx--had you paid the Chica before the picture request? Do the mortgage brokers present a different set of terms at closing, especially when they were dealing with the unwary or trusting? (I'll leave the 3rd scenario alone). See my point?
This is supposedly a Board of gentlemen--sad that this needs pointing out.

Sorry, not about me. This is not mortgage dealing, car dealing, permission slips from your teacher, etc......this is just plain and simple, the posting of pics that you have in YOUR possession. All this rationalizing and moralizing is good stuff, but no go. Not Applicable. Does Not Apply. Any more excuses?

Why even have a photo section? Why even bring cameras to CR? If not to post pics that were allowed to be taken in the first place? Just some questions...Is why the difference of opinion will always surface and prevail. Really can't win from either direction....

You may not be able to "win" from either direction but we can certainly lose when posting photos without permission (what are we trying to win here, anyway? Ego strokes???).

I don't want to try to explain to her Colombiano boyfriend that the pics were in my possession so "I had every right to post them on the net" (stab, stab, stab, stab).

To each his own. For many guys it's the norm (for me). It's a simple thing to ask permission and avoids a lot of potential headaches later.

My comments have nothing to do with personal picture taking. I refrain even if I want to. Most of the girls, even the ones who pose and act like you are their Papi, consider picture takers pervs. Have heard this one from chicas on many occasions.

What? Moralists among the working girls? Hey, if they think taking pics makes one a perv have I got an eye-opener evening for them!

If the girl I choose really thinks that taking pics is perverted then I did a very poor job during the screening process. The girl I am looking for does not tell her girlfriends what she really likes to do because they might think she is perverted! Believe me guys, they are out there: When I asked my favorita what she likes best about me she said it was because I am as sick as she is!

I love taking a few snapshots for my scrapbook. I ask upfront as part of my screening process, even did a vid or two last trip.

Most of the ZB gals were hams and asked to have me post them, no i didn't mention crt but getting the discount kinda hard for them not to know.

Most everyone else said no internet at that point I asked if I could share with good friends who might then be potential customers and they said sure.

I have and always will respect their wishes on this. Only seems right to me.
