One of the few astute points brother Florida has made is that no one is forcing anyone else to read any thread.

Now Now Roll, that's a little harsh. Cant blame a whole country for the actions of their malas putas! Many of us are still having a hoot down there. Here is how I did it.

Attend the university for a year. Get to know the culure and speak Spanish. Get to know how things work here. Accept frustration (in place of stress).

Figure out a way to do multilevel marketing here for a product. Find a way that it works here differently than the US (Do you really want to hire a thug to collect a $100 debt from a poor person?) Be willing to make less than you expected to get distributors. Then, when you thought your dreams were dashed, and the Americans Phuck up the global ecomomy with their greed, Costa Ricans contact you to buy to resell in order to make survival money.

I didn't plan it this way, but I was flexible. The Ticos and I are making money.

btw...teach English unless the USA becomes irrelavant.
