In this time of economic uncertainty, it’s rare that there’s a business that provides a stellar experience, at a lower price point. Yet, that’s exactly what the new rooms at Hotel Little Havana (HLH) offer; new, comfortable king size beds, flat screen TV w/HBO, tasteful furnishings, free WI-Fi, and “peek-a-boo” bathrooms (where you can see into the shower) with one of the best pressure and temperature responsive showers I have experienced in any hotel in CR. All of this, including the more than decent breakfast buffet at the Clarion, for $125 (minus 10% for CRT VIPers).

Best of all you have access to all the LHL chicas for the same $25/hr. as if you stayed in the suites. And it’s the service and staff that keeps me coming back to ZB – now LHL. I’ve never had an issue with security and there is always a base level of service expected, if not they are accountable to management. An added bonus is the ability to get to know the chicas and establish a repartee which really increases the odds for the ever elusive GFE. Moreover, there is never a chica fee, or dreaded “walk of shame,” for any outside talent brought in from the DR, SL, KL or some other venue.

With some CR hotels becoming hostile for us mongers, I see no reason for staying at a venue that grudgingly accepts my business. And while some may scoff, I’m tired (or lazy) of “playing the game” of hooking up with an independent. Going through the interview, trying to get a hint of her personality and hoping she’ll be as responsive in the room as she professes in the bar. Too many lies and too much drama for my taste.

The bottom line for me is that the LHL staff looks out for you and treats you as one of the family. The new wings offer the opportunity to live out your fantasies, in comfort, for a lower price point. A rare thing in a world where everything is going up except your income.

sounds good. i mean $125 a night is pricey, but if you get the girls for $25 an hour, it should even out, and you dont have to pay for cab fares. Do they have a restaurant or just breakfast bar in the morning? How about noise, is there any problem with sounds from other rooms? Do you know what time in the morining the girls start at, and how late they are there too? Also do you know how much with taxes a $125/room would be for 2 nights?

Hi Erp:

Taxes are about 16.5%, but if you become a CRT VIP member there's a 10% discount on your hotel stay which will wipe away most of your tax bill.

The breakfast buffet is not in-house but one block down at the Clarion. They serve fresh fruits, cereal, an omlet bar w/made to order eggs, coffee and juice on a nice little patio.

The chicas at LHL come in two shifts; 9-6pm and 12-9pm (so the time for best selection is early afternoon). Sunday they are open 10-6pm.

Noise shouldn't be much an issue but some rooms are quieter than others.

Reservations can be made via the website at: http://www.hotellittlehavana.com/

Hope this helps,
Lance

Lance,
Excellant report. Are there any other rooms than the suite. I looked at the website, but did not want to actually "book a room" for the price. I'll be there next week but staying at the SL. I will look into staying there next time. Great report thanks

Bob:

The rooms in the new wing are not the suites, that's why I was referring to a lower price point. I believe the rooms in the new wing are $125 and the suites are $195. A 10% discount for CRTers. Both include b'fast at the Clarion.

The suites are real nice. Bigger rooms, wet bar, suana, water cooler, balacony in some. Also, some of the suites have another bedroom so I guess the cost of those rooms can be shared (not too sure about that).

Guests in the new rooms get the same $25/chica deal at a lower price point so the choice is yours.

Thanks for the kind words about the knee - best thing to say is that I'm learning to live with the pain and limitations. Hopefully time heals all wounds, right?

Now on to the chicas... Some favoritas were no shows - Pamela was infirma, Karen, Brenda and the Nica Katy were not around. Still managed to have lots of fun with Tamara, Liza (Katy's sis), Tania, Kristy, Natalia (a new Tica with a cute face) and a few others whose names have slipped me.

Bottom line was that while not all of these chicas are "10s" their attitudes and sexual appitites more than made up for it.

Would anyone who has stayed at HLH, give a recommendation of which rooms (by name or number) would be better to request?

My friend and I have resos at DR, but I am highly thinking about either doubling up and getting the 2 - Bdrm suite or 2 individual rooms at HLH.

Any suggestions? We are there from 11/26 - 11/30.

TIA

Fallon

The suites are $250 when two people are staying in them, $200 for one person; the new rooms are all $125.

Tne new rooms are pretty much the same, though the ones downstairs don't have windows, though I'm not sure how many of the ones upstairs have windows either.

Of the four suites, Cohiba is the master suite, it has no 2nd bedroom, and is upstairs from the other three, with a large balcony up another set of stairs. Bolivar has a large tub (looks like a jacuzzi, but it has no jets), and Montecristo has a large screen rear-projection TV. I believe Romeo and Julieta has a small balcony, though I can't confirm that.

It doesn't sound like it would be worth staying in a suite for 2 people then, if the price is just double.

It doesn't look like the other suites have separate bed rooms. The king bed looks like it is where the main tv viewing area is. Staying with another person, that may be a bit awkward.

Plus, it looks like the Bolivar is the only suite with the other bedroom having access to the front door without having to pass through the master king bed. (would be a good view (or bad) if you and your wingman are both hooking up at the same time and you finish first) lol.

I would guess then that I need to decide if that sauna is worth sharing a room. (and if I want to spend that much time with my wing).

DR is great, but I love the idea of $25 and having the MP buffet right there. If we plan on dining in at least once a day, that is so worth the $125 (-10%) versus the $80 or $90 at DR, plus no $10 fee.

DR - gambling right there and late night snacking is always available.

Decisions, decisions.

Fallon

PS - so, nobody has had a problem taking a DRer back to HLH after hours? I take it, if it's that late, you have to take a cab? TIA
