Let me tell ya something, and listen very carefully. This is not IMHO! The day you get into baby mama drama here you are entering hell and can lose all control of your life. I have seen this many times, several with friends. I'm not limiting it to working girls either...
Listen up cuz you don't hear me say this too often. My advice was not exactly the best and these other guys stated it much better.
If she is a working girl it may be more
probable this is some sort of scam (no baby or not his), but 3rdW is more accurate when he adds that the possibility of a false attribution exists even with a regular chica. If you had the choice of blaming your rich gringo boyfriend of being your baby's dad or your deadbeat tico novio, which one would you pick even if you know it is more likely the latter?
Secondly, if he wants to do the responsible thing, he needs to first determine if he is really responsible, which means going down to a clinic with her and both sides taking the necessary tests, IF he wants to do the responsible thing if it turns out it is his. OTOH, if he wants to keep all his options open rather than risk prematurely subjecting himself to CR laws that are heavily weighted to protect the mother and Ch*ld first (IMHO as they should be), then he should follow Flyboy's advice and do his side of the DNA test here in the US before he returns to CR jurisdiction. I might add that he should still do what he can to verify there is even a pregnancy before he even go to that local expense. Lawyers and DNA tests aren't that cheap.
