What are the usual things the girls like from the U.S.

Read that as - 'what will get you fond memories'.

First time in CR for me.

How about clothes for the street people?

Diablo is quite correct-pictures of dead Presidents are the most popular gifts-However the chicas also like-lotion,shampoo,thong underwear (all from Victorias Secret) shower caps, big-assed hair clips they can use in the shower and they especially like JohnnyBlacks light up toys.

A bag of chocolate candy, M&M's or Hershey's Kisses work well. Shower caps and tooth brushes for obvious reasons. Skip the expensive stuff, ROI isn't worth it.

It's true that they love "dead presidents" but they appreciate (almost) anything. For example, I always give my "inexpensive" CD player to the one who stays with me my last night there.
Oh, and don't forget that you can score big with those with "little ones" if you give them something for them too!
