When you get to the airport early and have time to kill go across the street to the El Coco at the gas station. Thats right their is a gas station across the street that has a small soda attached. They have great fish and pork chops. You can get rice,beans ,salad, fish or pork chop and drink for 1,300-1,500 colones. The quality is excellent. I fly standby so they do not let me through security until they clear the flight. I walk over to kill time but most of you guys get to the airport early and with no free meals in coach this is a good way to eat cheap and good before your flight. Give it a try .Harlo
