any dodger fans going to be at the sportsmans thursday for the NLCS? i know bill will be there at least i would think he would be. but how about true dodger fans that want to share a beer and talk about our future and past? PR?

jones and pierre are under contract so they will be back. only possibility is pierre trade but i wouldn't hold my breath. kent and nomar are gone unless they want to come off the bench for very little money.
i'd like to have nomar back personally

Well fellas...battle lines are drawn! On to Philly! Yes the Phillies have a very good team...but its not about that is it? We just made a team that won 97 games this year soil their knickers! Our STARS are aligned...This is OUR time. This is OUR year...Like it was 20 years ago...see the pic of The Kirk below :)

Yes. You're in...welcome! :) I hope you can share some anecdotes from the old days with us... I have a poster of the 1955 World Champions on my wall. I remember my father reminiscing about the absolute EUPHORIA after they beat the Yankees for their first WS championship. I still have the Daily News "Who's A Bum" newspaper!!

Would be happy to. Living in Northern NJ when the Yankees :x and the Dodgers :D played in world series games the school administration piped the play by play into the classroom. In those days all games were in the afternoon. After so many disappointments '55 was complete euphoria for us Dodger fans.

I was fortunate enough to have been to games in Yankee Stadium, The Polo Grounds as well as Ebbets Field. I first saw Jackie Robinson play when he was with the Montreal Royals and the played the Jersey City Giants at Roosevelt Field in Jersey City. :lol:
