The funny thing is, many hookers are looking to marry for real. I know this because in my more naive days, I dated some who are now married. One's living in Oslo, another in Geneva, one's somewhere in Germany. One who I didn't "date" but loved to phuck worked at Barbarella's and L'uomo. I'm new to the monger scene and you wouldn't catch me dead having a puta as my girlfriend, fiance or wife. It's pure stupidity. The way I view mongering is just fun, good times period. But to actually consider a puta for a serious relationship? You'd have to be so desperate, sad...but there are men out there who are.

Working girls are so different from women who will only do you when you have spent $100 on dinner or women who are only interested if you make more than $250,000. Then there are the "straight" girls who will do you and everyone else in the bar if it might make them more popular. Yes, they are all so much better than a working girl.

Fact is that they are individuals and women, just like their 'straight" sisters. Some are good girls and some are diablas. They still fall in love and do stupid things, just like their "straight" sisters.

Maybe it is just me, but it makes my stomach hurt when some gringo gets on his high horse, putting down working girls, et al. If you have no respect for them then, please, just leave them alone!

Sorry, you would be shocked at the number of guys who say that. The odds of you screwing up once are fairly high. Women know our weaknesses just as much as we discuss theirs. The trick is learning from your mistakes and not repeating them which a lot of mongers don't.

First of all I'm not gringo. I'm Costa Rican & Gringo hehe, but I claim more Tico then ever. Second I've had two g/fs not in that line of work there. My point is that (perhaps my preference..) getting serious with a "working girl" (I don't know what you mean by this? A puta?) is degrading. How could you tell the good from bad? Why even bother? Mongering should be just good 'ol fun, and not look back. Perhaps just a friendship for future sessions and that's that. There are plenty of other women out there, especially in Costa Rica who isn't a whore, in University and/or better line of work, and without K*ds. I hope you see what I mean...

Most of these "chicas" like to manipulate men as well! Hoping to get something out of them. I remember when I was younger I went to Flamingo Strip club (in which i do not recommend) I was nervous and shy and this stripper wanted to get through to me, as someone else said "weak" targets are an easier score, but I'm the kind of person who easily says no, good for me haha. But anyway I haven't met a chica in that line of work who is "fake"; that in reality, she'd prefer not to do it, and wants out. Are they common or not? That is the question.

My point is that they are women, just like their non-puta sisters. And yes, there are many who would prefer to be doing something else.

Agreed. However, my idea from my first post is: how many of these women are actually looking for a BF? I don't know, what are the chances of a "monger" and a "worker chica" to 100% truthfully chemically bond? (not just the sex ). Chance of success of a serious relationship? I assume and like to belief very slim to none. I find it hard to believe that a woman in this line of work would consider, perhaps a Tico BF, but a Gringo? Maybe for the $ or the total package. Muchas interesadas hay en Costa Rica, believe it or not. Depends on their style of sneakiness.
