How's the weather these days in SJO? I am starting to pack and don't want to over-do it for a 4 night stay.

So far...

lube
toys
bug repellant
immodium
pepto
antacids
tylenols
vitamin blue (how much are these in sjo?)
shaving kit
cologne
1 raincoat (not a condom, a actual rain coat)
1 jeans
1 pants
1 shorts
3 t shirts
1 dressy shirt (in case I want to look dressy I guess)
1 zip-up sweater
1 sneakers
1 sport sandals
socks and plenty underwear

Sound about right? Anything missing? Thanks.

You won't need bug repellant in SJ, the pollution kills every insect.

Better add:
cash
stretchy-pants
tropical shirt
passport
camera
:D

Condoms and money. And a toothbrush. :P

Forget the bug repellent. There are no insects in San Jose, others than the vermin in front of DR, but the repellent probably won't work on them.

I would suggest getting a tongue scraper from your dentist. This is excellent to use anytime. Any alcohol, coffee, etc... comes right off and helps in preventing viking breath.

If you are still going on the ATV tour you could bring an extra outfit of old clothes you don't mind throwing away when you are done (could get muddy).

Excellent idea as I have been throwing shit out lately. Why is it single bachelor guys like me tend to keep shirts around for years even though we haven't worn them in years??

I'll pack an a umbrella too but I do have a raincoat I was going to pack. I understand the downpours this time of year can last up to 2 hours.

Skip the raincoat. You don't need it. The umbrella will be enough and I'll lay a wager you will barely use that.

Don't over think or over pack. Just enjoy. :D

Yup, must have an umbrella, unless your're the type who takes a taxi to go just two blocks. :D Don't need the raincoat, leave it.

I figured sports sandals in case I go out in the rain or if I go on the ATV tour and it gets really muddy. They're pretty easy to rinse off and dry quickly.
