I guess I am lucky to be in the 1-10 poor sessions total crowd, even though I have spent nearly a year in San Jose (total trips in two years). I owe that low number to several factors, including the ability to walk away if it is just not happening that night (many more nights to come), getting recommendations from other good performers, a reputation for not taking crap and at least a little ability to read women.

I would say that maybe one in 7 sessions that I have had down there would be called "regrettable". As El Ciego pointed out, the number goes down every time I go back though. These days the number is very low. This last time, I only sessioned with known commodities and that cut down on the potential for disaster. I like scouting new talent and I was disappointed that I was unable to make any new solid connections though. Part of the fun for me is experiencing new things and taking the risk of having an amazing time or a horrible time. I didn't take advantage of that on my last trip, but still had a fantastic time.

I suppose expectations also play a part in the equation. If I go to Muses and find something "doable" for $20, then I am not expecting much. If I go to DR and pay a cien, my expectations are much higher.

Looks like the 1-4 crowed wins. Plastic 10's, yea, they usually get the worst rep on this board.

The polling is flawed. I have had many visits and zero bad sessions. I have had 2-3 mediocre sessions in the past ten years. but one must rember sex is a chica is usually better than a self administered hand job. Therefore, percentages are a better indicator.
