Thank you for your input. It appears you are highly sensitive and I am sorry you were offended.
That notwithstanding, I am confused about how you jumped to the conclusion that I have a political savior or that the imaginary savior could make “everything right I never said anything about who I support politically.
The FAA falls under the auspices of the Secretary of Transportation who is a cabinet member and is therefore appointed by the president. Also, the FAA Administrator is appointed by the president. If I am not mistaken, that appointment is to a five year term. Those appointments directly tie any outcomes of the FAA (positive or negative) to the president regardless of which party is in power.
Just like nearly every other American, I agree that Congress is a dismal failure (14 percent approval rating), mired in its own self interests and not those of the people of the United States. Nevertheless, nearly all members of congress will be returned to office in the November elections. More than anything else that is a function of the design of congressional districts, the power of incumbency (which means the ability to finance an election) and name recognition. But when people vote, more likely than not, they will put the incumbent back in office.
I am not sure why you are trying to connect the concepts of clouds, brightness and a song titled
Kum Bay Yah with sitting in small circles. Why would I want, as you suggested, to sit in a small circle and sing a song that I that I find to be nauseating?
The fact is that not a lot of folks are happy with the current administration. As of August 20, 2008, Bush had a 28 percent approval rating; 67 percent disapproved and five percent didn’t know or didn’t care to respond. (The lowest approval rating was Harry Truman in 1949.)
Actually, I am not your son; and yes, I really do have a clue.
