Guys it gets better. I kicked the Gringa to the curb and went to Guatemala, met a civilian (non-hooker) there who turned out to be a GFE and a personal tour guide with a car and a real job. I don't lump them all into the same group. There are some very good women in the US. Anyone that doesn't believe that just has really bad luck or makes bad choices, or worse. Well said Bang. As many here are aware, I married a Venezuelan gal from a small town in central VZ. She had a condo that her father had given her in the heydays of VZ, way before Chavez. Over a period of 2 yrs. i had gone to VZ twice, flew her to CR twice, Tamarindo once, Panama once, and Mexico twice. Each time was for a total of at least 10 days and several times for about 2½ weeks. (Total of 90-95 days over two years). The blanket mambo was very good and frequent. Finally brought her to the States and married her. Things went quite well until she got her green card and wanted to go home to see the family, for 2½ months. What the phuck is that all about at that age? Mind you she is 47, no spring chicken, and her k**ds are 28 & 29. To say that things went south the DAY after she received that tarjeta verde is like saying Mt. Everest is a molehill. To make a short story VERY short, she got back from VZ and I couldn't wait to get rid of her. I sent her back, did my own divorce, and have been free of her ever since then. No alimony, no visits, no money, no pension, no SS, nada, zip, zero, zilch, but she DID have her green card, which ultimately is what she apparently wanted from day one (in hindsight, no doubt in my mind whatsoever). She has since called and wondered how I am doing and said I am living well and please excuse me I have someone coming over in a few minutes, sorry to have to go so quick. After 3 calls, she got the message. I just ain't marryin' material (my other one was 28 yrs ago and lasted 4½ yrs.) and I couldn't be happier about it. The women at work are just not what I want in my life other than just fellow employees. At my age, if they realized what they think about me keeps me entertained and not sleepless at night, they would move on to greener pastures. And your right TicaFan, I have made some lumpy choices and had some bad luck. But on the bright side, I have made many excellent choices as well. Fortunately of late, experience lets me make more of the latter rather than the former.
