I have stayed there twice. If you have an affinity for the old and elegant, it will suit you well. It's almost like staying in a museum. The biggest difference from the other rooms is that it has a large, separate room that could best be described as a receiving room or formal living room, with lots of furniture that is quite old or at least appears to be.
The bedroom is nice but relatively small, again with borderline antique furniture. There is a TV, probably about 26". Nice small wardrobe instead of a closet.
It sounds very nice. I like old furniture, as long as the bed doesn't creak too much

It's a beautiful and comfortable suite, if you like that style. Only problems are that it lies along the main entrance hallway and shares a wall with the front desk. It has never been exceptionally noisy when I was in it, and is well away from the bar. However, if you turn in early, are a late riser, or a light sleeper, I can see where this would be a problem.
Should not be a problem. I sleep pretty well so light noise will not be an issue. I'm an early riser, and this trip is really for relaxation, not hard partying, so I'll probably be in bed by midnight. Not being close to the bar is a very good thing. I stayed in the room just behind the computer desks behind the bar, and that was pretty noisy - people would gather near the computers and chat, and I could hear the bar until it closed. However, most nites I was the one closing the bar, so again, no real problem

Bill, the owner, has spent a significant amount of time living in that room.
As long as he doesn't snore it's ok with me
Thanks for the detailed reply - it's appreciated!
