YO CRT Hombres:

Damn, here it is mid July and there is a growing number of registered hombres signed up for the 2008 5th CRT anniversary bash. My how time flies and it seems like not that long ago when the CRS gang back in 1999 - 2000 hardly ever bumped into each other except on the forum. Rico was never one much for planning any get togethers back in those days except what chicas were going to be at his casa or where a dollar was to be made. He was good at what he did except for lack of time to be a hands on Webmaster. Seems like in 2001 an event was when 2 or 3 of us bumped into each other at the BM. Then in 2002 we had DG’s walking tour of the MP’ (5 of us were in attendance). Late that year we had the “Last Supper” at Costa Del Sol when Dongordo toasted the event with 8 in attendance. Seems like we may have had 10 or 12 get together at once in 2003. Then the 1st CRT anniversary party in 2004 (30 to 35 Guys) ?

Well, old Circus had another dream last night that vividly looked into the future and saw an event to behold.:

Top Story: CRT convention comes to a close at San Jose's largest convention center.

The Hotel Herradura, convention center, hosted the 7th annual CRT anniversary on Sunday. There were 500 members in attendance along with several hundred guests that packed the center enjoying a variety of events. The keynote speaker was former U.S. President, William J. Clinton, who gave a wonderful feel good lecture titled, “Leave No Chica Behind”. After a thunderous applause, Mr. Clinton was whisked away to a private tourism meeting with representatives of the hotel Del Rey.

The President of CRT, Sr. Tomas Gman, presided over the meeting and announced the new company officers and upcoming events. His former colleague, senor Eduardo Tman who also heads up a Panamanian travel company, announced the new CRT discounts that are available throughout CR, Panama, Colombia and Brazil. Much to the delight of many of her former colleagues, the lovely Rocio who is the CRT secretary, read the minutes and massaged the evening with climatic flair. Personnel Director, senor Vegas Bob spoke to members as to new talent in the industry and what to look for as to services rendered. He also warned members of needless inflationary costs when they fail to negotiate….one of the bi-laws of CRT membership.

Senor Dongordo was presented with an honorary award for being the most noticed and known gringo in SJ. A man who fits the theme "Everybody knows his name."

Dr. NYG was awarded a trophy for his unique practice of entertaining foursomes of chicas in one night. This black stallion is indeed a real hombre.

Senor Mucho Gusto, a man of vast wealth and honored by all members, announced a sports fishing expedition the next day at no cost to 25 of the membership. His only requirement to qualify was that their novia or favorita would have to schedule a session with him at his convenience. So far there were 21 who had signed up. You may lose your chica but hell…fishing is king.

DonPapi, retired linguistics professor, held a side bar on the appropriate espanol to employ while trying to entice a chica. Papi, who is also part owner of Idems Parlor, and an executive of Circus Cardboard Inns, announced a roll back in the prices at Idems. A round of applause exploded when he declared that the new price would be only 50,000 colones for ½ hour.

In another room, senors Witling and Sparkchaser lectured about the plus and minuses of having a Latina wife. It was a tense moment when their exes stormed in and found them with several chicas demonstrating the proper BBBJ procedure.

Senor Zippy. a man who knows the CR culture, was presented an award for his 1,000th chica seduced. Really envied by those in attendance and a milestone for other mongers to shoot for.

There was one small disturbance that began in the ladies room between several Colombian ladies fighting over their escort, senor PacoLoco and L-Heat but they were quickly ushered out by sergeant-of –arms LV Steve. Another disturbance came when senor Florida, a somewhat bizare hombre, was thrown out of the convention for promoting his so called "ball shaving" procedure. To the distress of non-CRT guests in the convention lounge, this seedy character showed his private and ass to onlookers before being briskly escorted out the door.

Also, there were chica demonstrators outside the convention hall marching with signs that read “Cientos cincuenta dólares o ningún sexo” but senor LVSteve had them removed. Senor Nucknfuts again tried to bring in several lovely trannies but was refused entry due to their “revealing” attire. All in all a good time was had by everyone in attendance. The banquet was cuisine exceptional with rice, beans, fish, roast, fries and fruits catered by Don Carlos under the supervision of master chef, HolaB. Senor B also introduced his new cookie and sweet yummies to the pleased pallets of all the members. His world renowned brownies were a real high.

Senor ElCiego, who through miracle surgery, restored 50 % of his sight and announced that he was through with CR. Finally he was able to see what some of the chicas he had been banging looked like. With exception of a few, a number of them had been sent to a petting zoo. He still beat by far his old friend Circus. Which brings us to another announcement.

On a sad note. One of CRT’s well known members passed away the night before the convention. Known as a rather seedy, sultry and vodka consuming master of disguise, senor Circus, died of heart failure in his room at the Hotel Presidente. Seems as though after several years of being unable to find a chica companion that would accompany him to his room, he finally scored with success……..his heart, from decades of abuse, just could not take it. There was not a dry eye in the house as his old clown hat was passed among the convention guests to donate for his funeral and also a propina for the lady in question. 14,269 colones were raised. It was heart warming to see such respect for a fallen comrade.

The convention finally came to an end as guests hurried back to their hotels in order to meet with smaller groups and discuss their business at hand. We can only wait until next year to welcome back the many gringos that practice free trade with the numerous independent contractors who unselfishly help the economy here in SJ.

Circus:

thank you Circus: at a time when there's so much clutter over things like what does a bartender get paid, who should be able to read the board and other background noise you come along with something really worth reading. Hope you make that 2010 anniversary party not to mention the 2008. 8)

Circus,
Fun read. I would have thought that by 2010, note would have been made of one of Costa Rica's most prominent "small businessmen," HolaB. Oh well, it's your dream.

Ciaociao

MG got it right--whenever worries get to you, just look up a Cicus thread and it all goes away--of course a couple of fingers of Tullamore Dew to accompany doesn't hurt either.
