Quick question....long story.......Fell down hard on new artificial legs..shattered my elbow...8 inch plate, 5 screws, 3 pins..really phucked things up.....Going to mde in sept.......Do I go, even though I need to rehabilitate?? I say I am going!! Viva la Republica!!

I would suggest Zig that such a decision should be made after consulting your orthopedist, surgeon and general physician...then do what you feel you can do. Don't compromise your healing just to make the trip. The chicas will still be there once your elbow has fully recovered.

In the meantime, if the elbow isn't on your dominant side, you've got all those killer beaver shots to inspire and relieve you in the meantime. And if your dominant arm was injured, it might even feel like a stranger is doing the whacking.

how will this affect your ability to take pictures if you won't be able to take picture to share with the rest of us, I think you should wait but that is just my own selfish reason good luck in your recovery

Zig..... that's a nasty fracture, but to answer your question is dependent on how well the bone is healing. If your ortho says you are progressing on tract after looking at your xrays during this recoup time and you'll be out of a cast/sling by the time the trip comes around get on that plane.

I would stick to perro(doggy) or chica vaca (cowgirl) though.
