In Costa Rica, if someone files a Danuncio against you it is like a law suit, with two differences, 1) you have to prove you are innocent and 2) the person filing does not have to do squat. You have to answer to the governement. And let me tell you, the governement here does not like foreigners coming in here and exploiting their women.

So Mikie Styles and the rest of you, just remember that. Because what happens when a Danuncio is filed against you, you get stopped as you are exiting the country, you go to jail and you have to pay your way out. PLUS, you don't get to leave the country until the matter is resolved.

Actually, you can file a Danuncio for just about anything. It is amazing to me that the system is not abused more than it is. It is a patently unfair system. And it is not really about a defense, you have to prove our innocence!

For example, say one of these little Chicas is pregnant by her Tico Novio and she decides she wants to extort some $$$ out of her asshole Gringo client. All she has to do is run down to the court, file a paternity danuncio against you. Guess what? You are getting detained on the way out of the country cowboy. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. You have to either put up cash (I believe the number is $10,000) OR they hold your passport and you stay in CR until the baby is born a paternity test can be taken. Oh, and don't hold your breath for a speedy result to that test after the birth.

One of these days, one of you guys are going to get tagged for taking these photos and posting them without permission. I can see it now, you will come crying like little Babi*s on the CRT board and blabber about how you were abused by the Costa Rican legal system.........and I am just going to laugh my ass off.
