Arrived at the Amistad last night, where I'll be staying for my 13-night trip. Staying in room 307. Just a small update, all the major construction work on the bar is done. It's mostly finished, except for details like furnishings and such, as well as getting the liquor license.

The redone rooms are real nice! The king bed with memory-foam mattress--yay! Large TV on a full-size dresser (at least in the room I'm in). Quiet AC. And yes, wireless and wired internet. With the 25% CRT discount (for weekly, I think) off of the $69 standard rate, these deluxe rooms are a real value now.

any projection as to when the bar will open for business? a liquor license isn't already a done deal, has matt been busy or something?
