Hello Friends,
1) I am staing at SL and I saw people mentioning leaving passport and extra money in the safe box, but is that very safe to do so? Are there any cases of things stolen from safebox, room etc. I am only there for three days so I don't want anything to ruin my trip. So please advise.

If this option is not advisable then please let me know your thoughts on how to avoid this sort of problems.
Also, How big is the safe and does it have a keys?
If so where do you keep the keys.
If I have a laptop that does not fit in the safe, is it ok to leave the laptop in the room while you are on fishing trip?

It is an electronic safe w/o key. I can fit my small laptop inside, but don't do that any longer, because I perceive the rooms as safe. Bigger laptops won't fit.

I think the "safe" is safe, but I might not be quite as nervous as you. It is probably your best option.

Like Ciaociao said, you can fit a small laptop, all your money, passport, camera, and other things in there. The safe is in your room and you set the combination. Since ,y laptop is bigger than the safe, I felt very comfortable leaving my laptop in the room when not in it.
