i have my second trip coming up to Costa Rica....I have had so much fun there I'm scared to go anywhere else. What would you guys say your most favorite places are (rio, Buenos Aires, amsterdam,etc...) from BEST to the LEAST favorite place?

thanks

You might consider Margarita Island, which is just off Caracas. There are two fun erotic resorts there (mywildvacation and totalsatisfaction), where you would have a great time. Both have forums, with photos, etc.

I would go back, but it is a bit of a hassle to get there, and bit more expensive than CR.

Panther, Panther , Panther, you keep plugging these outrageously expensive all inclusive resorts when I have told you repeatedly about much cheaper alternatives on Isla de Margarita.Yoe can get a nice beach hotel for less than $50 per night & with just a little effort get company for $25 por una hora or $50- $60 TLN.

Agree its a hassel getting there & the politics in the country are getting scary , however, the politics haven' affected the attitudes on the islands.

I am planning a return trip to Prague this Spring. It's not quite a cheap as San Jose, but it's quite a bit cheaper than Amsterdam and the girls are more varied physically. I like Latinas, but I grew up lusting after girls of European descent. Lots of girls you see in Prague could have been cheerleaders in my High School. They also tend to be slimmer than the Latinas. I don't limit myself to spinners in Costa Rica but they are pretty hard to find. Diet or too many Ch*ldren too young, chicas in CR tend to put on weight young and keep putting it on.

Add to that the fact that Prague is a clean, efficient city with incredible architecture and international cuisine and you have a great place.

I haven't been to all the places I need to see yet but I can offer my view.
Amsterdam must be the safest place on earth. Two in the morning, bombed out of my gourd and never bothered once. I haven't had a problem in Amsterdam once in 3 trips. There is also a lack of beggars and touts. The down side is that Amsterdam outside the red light districts (3) is not the Del Rey and you have to hunt a bit, more the GFE. Go for Queens Day April 30 if possible. One giant party with inner city streets closed the night before; there will be NO rooms anywhere and I mean anywhere. Reserve in advance.
Thailand was safer than San Jose. You can do this solo as I did with the research to roadmap your adventure. I never left Pattaya and had no reason to. Bars close (sort of) about 4am and the bus or walking home was no problem. Why does one feel invincible when they have had so much tequila they can't remember how many shots? Some street aggravation but low key.
San Jose never felt right to me either, every night another asshole, and the mob at the Del Rey is annoying. I never took the cab to the Presidente but probably should have after reading of others. I have seem the scum hanging on the corner across the street and met Oscar out front (anything you need my friend?). I felt safer in LaFortuna and Quepos but the sense of danger was always there at night.
I hope to be wise to Peru soon. Just take precautions as you would anywhere. Nobody wants to hurt you- they are just desperate and need money. Learn to enjoy places. Getting robbed is probably like a barfight at home. Sometimes it happens even when you try to avoid it. Happy travels to you.

Boudmon, I agree that the resorts are more expensive (the trip will cost about double what a trip to CR would cost). However, you will be staying in a guarded, nice, all-inclusive, resort, with a chica(s) with you 24/7. Stay a week, and you get a duo of your choice. You take many side trips with your chica(s), and have a great time.

B, I don't think that your course of conduct would be very safe. There is a criminal element on the island, and you might be a target.

least favorite is Skid Mark Row at the Cardboard Inn, although the host always seems to be in good spirits.

most favorite, Colombia, with the Hotel Nuevo Johnson in CR a close second.

Just my experiences, from most favorite to least:

Buenos Aires, for variety, service, and classiness
San Jose
Bangkok
Niagara Falls, Canada
Bogota, Colombia
Windsor, Canada
Toledo Ohio
Quito, Ecuador
Sosua, Domincan Republic

All except for Ecuador and the D. R. are basically positive. I have
had some great experiences right at home in Toledo (last week, indeed,
for $165 incall through an agency). I can also say some nice
things about Niagara Falls, where the rates are low and the ladies
all seem to be GFE.

I am making my first trip to Prague in March. Who knows?

I wouldn't go to Venezuela on a bet these days but here's the websites for 2 resorts mentioned:
www.mywildvacation.com
www.exotictravel.com/adult_vacations/3- ... tisfaction

no recommendations whatsoever, just info.

Oh its like Sosua, DR without the hassle of getting there, politics, or fear factor and I almost never talk religion and politics in a bar, out of respect :D

If you go fly to Punta Cana and take an affordable cab

I don't know why my name was mentioned. My post was made a long time ago, and I was mostly giving info for those who might like this type of place. BTW, I guess you know that Venezuela has, or is, closing down those resorts, which are moving to CR and the Dominican Republic.
